He sighed softly and slipped off the bed,curling up on the ground like a puppy. He huffed out a soft breath,his tail falling to cover his snout. His ears where back again and fur down,flat.

The nightmares hadn't returned to her, at least the one about water.

He soon faded into black in his head,well....it was sorta black. It had a few figures of some people running across his mind. People long gone. For reasons he hated to admit.

She began having a different nightmare. But it was odd, because she had no memory of it.

He rolled onto his back,forcing his tired eyes to open and stare up to stop the repeating movie in his mind of the last shut down. He listened to the house,ears twitching.

She made a soft grumbling sound in her sleep.

He heard her and peaked over the edge of the bed to make sure she was okay,ears flicking like a kittens.

She was clearly having another nightmare, making soft whimpering sounds.

He sighed silently then came up on the bed next to her. He laid besides her and put his tail around her a bit and an arm over her gently. "Shhh..Shhhh..."

It didn't stop, and instead, something strange happened. A faint scar on her cheek started glowing. As it continued, her other scars also started glowing. And rather than it looking like someone have just randomly abused her, it was more like someone had carved them into her. Some of them were in a swirly sort of pattern.
