Almon glanced over at him and Vic. "Okay, now that's the definition of being creepy."

He leans in even closer, so that their faces are almost touching. He lowers his voice to a soft murmur. "Don't answer. It's obvious."

Shade let the hem cover it back up and he gave a slightly gentle smile. "I've fought for my life a few times,but when I was soft.I got myself into business that wasn't my own." He said,not completely explaining but partially.

Jack nodded in agreement. "No kidding."

She looked up at him, her brown eyes matching her hair. "O-okay."

He moves in, almost as if to kiss her. Then, he quietly whispers, "impress me and I'll let you see what a real boyfriend is like." Before she can respond, he then lets go of her and walks away.

Astra rolled her eyes. "Of course you did." She said to Nico. "Seriously Cole, this is why you always get in trouble."

Cole pretended not to hear thay.
