"Yup," he nods. He stands, "I'll be right back, love." He kisses her head before striding into the kitchen.

She nods, beginning on her food again.

He scolds the maids silently, "Next time try and keep it together, alright?" They nod silently before he strides out a few minutes later, and sits back down.

She looks over at him. " What was that about. " She questioned.

"Just making sure they stay organized next time," He mutters, gulping down the res of his water. A maid walks out of the kitchen, her hands shaking as sh pours her king more water.

She nods, glancing up at the maid as she takes a sip of her drink.

The girl dazes off suddenly, his drink overflowing. He sighs as maids Sprint out of the kitchen, snapping her out of her daze. She looks down at his glass and shouts in surprise, quickly setting down the pitcher and looking up at her king fearfully. He looks up at her, shaking his head as he takes the towels from the maids and sets them on the wet spot on the table. He waves them off, glaring at the maid who had dazed off a he quickly walks away. "She was just hired from a nearby pack, the pack is dying in numbers, they sent her here so she would be safe. She believes all the rumors about me, that entire pack did, an what's left of them at the moment," he mutters softly. "A disease had started spreading when a sick child had entered their pack, it soon died from the disease and that's when it started showing in elders and omegas. The weakest of them were affected first, now it's the hunters that are being affected."

She paused. " Are you going to do anything about it? "

He shakes his head, his eyes showing the pain he held due to the fact that he couldn't protect his own. "You can stop a disease, as long as they stay in their territory it shouldn't spread. I can't risk my life along with the scientists and doctors I have access to. It takes years to find cures..."

" Then...we're just going to wait until it dies out? " She asked.
