Puck blinked at her, and, for once, not exactly sure what to say.
Ash joined in on the glaring and glared daggers at Puck.
"Fine, princeling," he demanded, "where can we find this trod to New Orleans?"
"The frost ruins," Ash replied, looking thoughtful. "Very close to Mab's court." At Puck's glare, he shrugged and offered a tiny, rueful smirk. "She goes to Mardi Gras every year."

She can't help the chuckle that escapes, shaking her head she shrugs.

All three guys shoot her a strange look. (Grim being the third)

"What?" She snaps, glaring right back.

They all shake their heads and look away. Puck was re first to speak up. "If we're going to get moving, let me borrow some stuff." And with that, he was off.

She looks at Ash, "Thank you." She says softly.

Ash was surprised, but didn't show it. "What for?" he asked, keeping emotion out of his voice

"Helping us, helping me." She says, looking at him with a small smile. "Puck my despise you, but I think he's secretly grateful your still helping us. He loves Lin, he'd do anything for her, I think all he wants for her is to be happy again." She sighs, glancing at Lin thoughtfully.

Ash shook his head. "You do realize that after I help you find Ethan you have to come back with me to Mab, right?"

She nods, "I haven't forgotten our deal." She then looks at him, "Am I not allowed to be thankful?" She asks.
