Knuckles barred his fangs. "I don't have patience for your lies. I saw Nox in your hideout, and I delivered Infinite to you. The next day, they both attacked me. I shattered the Emerald to keep it out of their hands."

Zero smirked as he listened to Knuckles speak of his handywork.

Nox frowned.

"I didn't send them." Hagin growled barely concius, "Look blame the truely guilty duo who turned traitor."

"Yeah right. Whatever. Come find me when you're done with you're fecade." He grunted before going to help Ajal.

Zero glance at Nox. "Is something the matter?"

"What Hagin said isn't fully a lie." Nox muttered.


Ajal gripped the shard tightly, "Shard in my hand."

"Not entirely, no." Zero agreed. "But the Guardian is hard to sway. That said, though Hagin as speaking truely of our... retailiation, he did send me and he was after the Emerald."

"I know." Knuckles said, soflty. "Take it easy, alright? You fought well." With that, he picked the wolf up without bothering to ask about it.

Ajal nodded slightly trying to stay awake.


Nox looked at the ground, "I'm calling that lie. It was my idea because I wanted to rogue and the best way was to get to enemies to turn on each other and if you betrayed me would have made a convinet scape-'goat."

Knuckles steadily made his way back to Tails' place.
