"Agreed." Hanako groans. "He'll be a nightmare around water thouh, mind you- he's like part merman now i think. His homeworld was way too OP."

Lishian ignores her, instead stuffing the beries in his pocket "for later" and following

Eli grabs my hand before i can stuff my own pockets full of berries, mumbling curses under her breath as she pulls me deeper into the forest.

"looks like there's a game trail here made by the wildlife, if we follow it it shoulld probably lead to some water so we can rest a bit and make a plan before we keep going" eli points out. her familiar is no where to be seen - probably asleep in one of her pockets- but that doesn't mean she doesn't have access to his magic.

"Ooh! That would be awesome." Lishian grin, teeth slightly stained with berry juice.

"Oh great....What are we out here for again? Charting territory or something?" Hanako sighs, using some hair to clear some branches aside as she walks down the path.

"yeah basically" i shrug, staring at the plants as we pass them. maybe i should have brought, like, some paper or something. you know to draw the map. oh well we have some good charting skills i'm sure it wont matter that much, neither me nor Eli are that good at drawing anyways.

we follow the game trail for awhile until it leads us to a nice pond, which we settle down next to to begin planning.

Lishian does the logcal thing for him and dives in, popping back up as a merman. "Awesome."
"Aaaaand he's a fish now." Hanako groans, sitting down far from the water. "So, fish boy, you got leftover paper on you?"
Lishian nods and pulls some out. "Hanako can draw it, only becuase I don't have ink in this form."
"Wait, what-"
"You have your....red stuff." Lishian grins.
"Am I allowed to commit murder?" Hanako asks the other two. "Also do you guys have good memories, i don't remember much besides big landmarks and Lishian probably only remembers the dangerous plants we passed."

"memory who?" Eli scoffs, rolling her eyes at me. "yeah i forget basically everything, good thing i can scry the places we've been and we can draw them on the map" i suggest, grabbing my book and setting it on the ground in front of me, sitting down in front of it.

Hanako sat back and let her do her thing. Lishian, meanwhile, took a tri punderwater to see what he could see. And came back up with....a lot of stuff

"what ya got there?" Elis asks, as i begin to scry out the path we took. the map folds out in front of me, suspended in midair by strands of magic. i quickly trace the map on the paper in front of me, scrambling to scrawl it all down before it can dissapear on me.

"Edible wild plants." Lishian grins. "The kelp might not even be poisonous to you lot!"
Hanako groans. "You're bringing some home aren't you."
"Yup!" Lishian grins. "This place doens't have any good rocks though. Oh well." He hops out, transforming back to his normalish appearnace. He's a bit wet but doesn't seem to mind much.

"are you sure we can eat them?" Eli asks, and zoe remembers the whole 'him being able to eat poison berries and her not being able to eat them' thing. she turns her attention back to the map as the magic fades away, holding the thing up for them to see.

"finished, for now" she says, rolling it up and setting it by her book.
