"There is? Could you please pull it out. It's so annoying, stupid Sir Barks. I should have been stronger," Will hissed a bit as he tried to grab the thorn, not able to reach it, "They said it's because I have powers or something."

Glacier nodded, "Let's head then. We should stop them from opening the gate and fast. I don't think we have much time," He looked at Cherry, who nodded in agreement.
Zio was chilling, still reading. She seemed uninterested in what was going on around her.

Austyn waves his arms over Zio's book. "Come on! We've got a gate to keep shut." He skips cheerfully out of the library and to Ritkle.

'Not stupid. Just pressured to do things.' Azrail clarifies before pulling the thorn out, immediately healing Will once the thorn was out. For a moment, Azrail thought of how the thorn could serve him as a weapon before slapping himself, not sure where that thought had come from and not wanting it to pop up again. He wasn't going to be hurting people anytime soon. He hands the thorn to Will, eager to have the thorn out of his hands.

Zio sighed, hesitantly standing up and putting the book away.
"Fine, let's gooo. If you insist," She said with a sigh as she followed him, Cherry and Glacier following close behind.

"He isn't presserured to do things. He just acts like that because that's what he was taught," Blackout grumbled, melting into the shadows as Will tried to stab him with the thorn in his hand, "He had a bad experenince when he was young so he has troubles with things. I do care about him, really."

'Misunderstood then?' Azrail suggests. 'Perhaps he feels underappreciated?' He didn't feel safe with Blackout able to pop up at anytime pretty much anywhere and able to teleport others through shadows of wanted.

Austyn beams at Zio and skips as fast as he can. Riley was keeping a more reasonable pace.

"Misunderstood, 100%. Underappreciated, no. We love him and would die for him. Of course we technically did almost die for him so you get the idea," Blackout said with a shrug appearing right behind Azrail before melting away again, like he was hopping around in the shadows.

Zio followed Riley's lead, going at a not super fast Austyn pace and instead at his own pace. He turned to watch as Cherry and Glacier bickered about things he did not care about.

Azrail squeaks and backs away from where Blackout had appeared, knocking into Will. 'Sorry.' He signs to Will, backing up from him. He didn't know why he was here apart from something about a key, and was sort of hoping things would just finish so that he could go back to living a normal life. Well, not a completely normal life, he hoped he wouldn't continue to be ignored and stuff, but if it was how it was going to be, it was how it's going to be.

Austyn had kept the book and was reading it the same time he were walking. Riley was wondering how in the world Austyn could do that.
Destiny was watching the group from a distance, flying or walking depending on her mood.

Will shrugs, perfectly fine with his reaction. He was a bit... well a lot on edge, ready to fight. He knew his father was worried about him, but it only made him wonder why Azrail was here. 'Why you here? To force me to open gates? Well not you. They will use you as leverage maybe' He signed with a small sigh as he watched Blackout sit in a corner, watching them curiously.

It wasn't much interesting stuff. Just about how the gate opened with someone who had closed it before or descendant. Also about how someone needed to die to close it. You know, nothing important.

Azrail shrugs, not entirely sure why he was here either. 'Don't know why I'm here. Maybe the group is in danger and they don't want me to help them. You're dad sent those that were in the room when you disappeared to look for you and have you back in two weeks otherwise they'd be killed, so we've steadily made progress. Somewhat. I hope they figured out what they wanted from the book.' Azrail sits down and pulls his knees up, wrapping his arms around them before resting his head.

Despite it being totally not interesting, Austyn was taking it all in, practically memorizing it the first time through. "Well that was interesting." He says, snapping the book shut. He offers it to Riley, not wanting to have it in his hands any more. Riley gives him a look before sighing and taking it, placing it in his bag.

Will nodded, 'Yeah, that makes sense. He's too lazy to send guards to do his work, just send children instead. Honestly makes no sense in my opinion. But then again he does do the strangest things.' He was a bit confused about the book, but didn't press matters.
"Hello there. Barks here now, start now? Or later," Barks walked into the room, Pinky following.
"Might as well, we have everything we need," Blackout said from the corner he was in.

Zio watched them, "Anything interesting," She asked taking out a dagger and twirling it in her fingers, "That book seems pretty dull."
She wasn't about to admit that she had memorized the whole thing, because then she would have to admit she forgot about the most important part, where the gate was.

"There's death involved in shutting it. " Austyn says vaguely before refrencing the page and paragraph(s). Riley makes a face.
"I feel like there's enough death in the world." He brightens. "Though I will gladly sacrifice my idiotic cousin."

Azrail shudders and tries to think of something to stall them from opening the door. But he had no clue how to stall people.
