She gasped, shaking her leg to detach the thing. "Get. Off." She growled.

Alex groaned under his breath. Lights didn't work on Zero.

Minti fell to the floor, watching her with giant eyes, "You promised," It said in a robotic tone as it jumped and knocked the flashlight out of Ashley's hand.

Zero watched him with cold black eyes before starting to climb into the room, "Pl-lay some-e games!"

"Look, I'll play gsome games with you but you gotta wait until the other people get back, alright? Then I'lll play some games with you." Alex said quickly. "And we can't play games in here."

"Promised what? I didn't promise you anything! You're the one that promised to not be trouble!" She reached for another flashlight from her pocket, her hands shaking

Zero blinked and stopped for a second, "Bad Cat," It said in a robotic tone before climbing into the room, almost falling and breaking the desk.

When Ashley turned on her flashlight and pointed it at Bad Cat he was gone. Minti was sitting on the ground and watching her with wide eyes before standing and running away.

Then the power turned on, at least dimly now.

Alex sighed. "What do you mean by Bad Cat? Is he coming?"

Zero stared at Alex before picking him up and shaking him, "Bad Cat out," It stuttered in a monotone voice before setting Alex down, then it turned and stomped away, "I warn you," It said before it climbed back in the vent and disappeared.

"Oh. Thanks." Alex said, seeing the power on and awkwardly walking to close the doors and vents. He'd open them if the girls came knocking.

"Bad Cat's gone!" Ashley shouted the warning before running after Minti
