Suddenly, Sly, now smaller than the size of a wolf pup, appeared. He was lying on her head, remaining covered by her hood. Sly was shaking, not from being cold, but fear of what the dragon would do.

Nyx watched as the dragon before her disappeared, the sky clearing above her. She glanced around, unsure of where she was. She couldn't see anyone else nearby, just more of the meadow as far as the eye could see. She grunted, retreating to more of the tall grasses, her legs giving out beneath her as she thud on the ground. The pouring rain weakened her fire power temporarily, plus she was exhausted from the running.
