"I could make a sandwich for you. What kinds do you like?" Mercy finally relaxed, opening her door and gesturing for him to follow her down the hallway into the kitchen.

Max Sighed showing his exhaustion, but also hinting at the fact that he did not really like the idea of calling him a pet anymore than you did " For now at least until I can come up with another way " he said kindly before quickly removing his hand from your shoulder as if he had forgotten he had placed it there before heading out the door " oh, and thank you Akoni, I'm going to rest while I have the daylight " he said closing the door gently

Akoni nodded once, before he had closed the door. He looked around the room, a small, playful smirk coming to his face. He should have a look around, after all, the letter said this was for him to learn about the human world, right? He started opening drawers and going through them, as well as looking through the closet and pulling out clothes, admiring and looking at some of them curiously. He had changed into his true form to look at the ceiling, and just to roll around on the bed for fun. He changed back to his human form, and by then, the drawers were all emptied, and the closet was a bit of a mess. He smiled cheerfully to himself, wrapping himself up in some blankets just to see what they felt like. "I wonder if Max is already asleep. He won't mind if I look around the house too, right?" He said to himself.

Mercy nodded softly, still just a bit nervous even though she put on a more relaxed appearance. She rubbed her temples a bit, her pounding headache from yesterday coming back. She'd been working too hard to keep her apartment lately, and it was catching up to her...
"The kitchen is right over here..." She said as she glanced back at him to make sure he was still there. She walked in and opened the fridge, finding some beef and some bread was on the counter.
