Lyla didn't say anything, just nodded. If you became her friend, she could become very talkative, but at the moment, she wasn't sure what to think of the girl standing in front of her. Lyla felt like she could relate to Auggie, too, but she didn't say that.

(Oh yeah she'll get along with Phoenix-get him talking and he'll wear you out but otherwise he's a literal wall. with pigeons on top for added effect; ;D)
Peggi sat down nearby-Pheonix would turn up soon enough. "I swear, sometimes I feel like I' the only semi-noraml person in the house. I'm surprised I haven't gone mad, what with Phoenix constntly leaving his pigeons and his books and who knows what everywhere."

Her words earned a slight smile from Lyla. She knew she probably wasn't really normal, but she wasn't entirely sure she wanted to be. She just nodded again, but she wouldn't really know as she's been avoiding most people.
