She outright laughed. "Priority? What sort of priority brings you to a broken down, abandoned, and very possibly haunted mansion?" She turned away from her horses and towards you, leaning forwards and whispering, "You a ghost hunter?" You could tell she was joking.

She raised an eyebrow and laughed, turning back to her horses. "Better come out of there alive, Mr. Detective."
After some time, you come to the edge of a shadowy forest. The horses neigh and pull on the reins, refusing to go anymore further into the forest. The driver points down the road. "It's that way. My beauties won't go any further, so that'll be here, then."
You find your bag, it has your car keys in it, a notebook, an old pen, and a couple of coins.
You'd never seen this address before, but you could vaguely remember the street was pretty far away. Walking would not do the trick.
I jump into the car, pulling out and driving towards where I rmbr the street being

Your old car coughs to life as you turn the keys, and it jerkily starts its way down the streets. After quite some time, you find yourself on the road in the address. There were houses on the road, but the numbers all seemed to be less than the one in the address. You came to the end of the houses, but the road went on into a forest.

The plane had spiraled down towards the floor from the ceiling, but there was nobody in the room not anywhere the plane could have been before it flew down.
You pick up the plane, and in the darkness, you could make out there was some sort of writing on it, but it was too dark to see clearly.
Maybe you should light some of the candles around the room.
(didn't I have my lamp?)
I light a candle or two but not all of them to try and read what it says.
(mmm also I put out a new chapter of grey battles sry I forgot to ping you)

((Whoopsies, apologies. You were actually supposed to light the candles first but I messed up the procedure so I had to somehow make up for it xD I'm rlly sorry.))
It's folded, so you could make out a few words, but not the whole thing. The writing seems to be that of a child's.

(lol it's fine ^^)
I unfold it and check what it says wondering if this could be a clue to the missing child case I was on.

It seems to be a page from a diary, given the smudged date at the head of the crumpled paper. The contents, however, seemed slightly disturbing.
Second day at the manor, now. I've done some exploring in the lands that the host owns, and I'm really surprised by how huge the entire place is. The forest, the church, a factory, and even a small village by the sea! The host sure is rich.
Turning the paper over, you find another entry. This entry seems to be from a couple days after the previous entry.
The Games begin today... I'm quite nervous, and so are my friends. Yeah! I made friends out of the other many people here!
There was a white space, and then some more writing, but the writing seemed frantic.
In The Games now...
Heartbeat. He's here...
NO! NO! NO!
It was all a lie. A trap... We'd been lured here...
The rest of the paper was smudged beyond recognition with a couple of splatters of unidentifiable liquid.

Give it another check before driving down the forest road, hoping I just missed the address
