Nep stopped, sniffing the air for prey. He noticed a half ate blue jay near a bush and ran to it, stuffing the whole thing into his mouth. After he gobbled it down he laid down in the shade of a tree to rest. Nep shook his head, wondering how long he would be living alone.

She barked 'Hold on!" she ran after him

Asha droppedthe food and went to look for Bruz.

"You aren't from around here are you?" River asked from the safety of a fallen log. She hadn't been there long, in fact she had just nearly walked up on the hyena as he sat down.

He playfully evaded her for a few minutes before finally letting her catch him. Panting some he lay on the ground, looking up at the ceiling of the cottage. "I-I'm ready when you are." He said finally...though in all honesty he was nervous...

The bear was in the same spot he had been in when they left. When he smelt the familiar smell though he stood barreling towards Asha. In a playful manner he sat back, swatting a gentle paw at her in greeting.

Nep jumped from her spot under the tree, spotting the little fox,"What do you mean? I've been here long enough." He walked a few steps closer to the small fox, wondering how long she had stood there. He towered over the fox by 3 feet, and could easily scare her off if he needed.

"It's just that I haven't really seen you around in the forest." River said peering at him from inside the log. Gracefully she wrapped her tail about her legs, a nervous habit of hers. "At least around this part of the forest."
