She saw someone appear down the path in the cave, and when the lights went out she let out a cry. She fell to the ground, her head hurt and it was getting difficult to breath. The only things she was aware of was the complete darkness and it felt suffocating. Tempest looked around wildly, trying to pinpoint where the mouth of the cave and water was.

I can sense the girl stumbling around, so I stand still until she bumps into me.
"Boo." I say, letting my red eyes light up, like little glowsticks.

(I meant live...oops)

"So you live in the lab as well?" Great so she was back to square one again. Hmm... "you you know anyone that lives around here? Not in the lab? I need someone to help me to get back to my own home."

She just whimpered instead of letting out a scream. Sinking back down to the ground again, she stayed still, squeezing her eyes shut.

"What are you doing in my caves?" I ask, trying to make my voice as imposing as possible.
"I did tell you to stay away," I say, trying to prompt her to speak. Thank god, she came back.

She looked up, trying to summon some magic so the glow would at least aid her a bit. "I was just exploring," she whispered, her voice hoarse. "I swear I didn't follow you." Dark. The lab. Just like the lab.

"Why would a water creature be venturing into the dark earth? I thought you were afraid of the dark," I say, folding my wings once again.
"Do you know your way back?" I ask, sorely hoping it's a no. I could do with some healthy company, and not the skeletons for once.

"I have legs too," she said, laughing weakly and searching for something to help her stand. She managed to grasp his forearm for a second but let go after she pulled herself up. She let go at once and brushed dirt off her dress. "And to answer your question, no-" her voice shook a bit. "I don't know my way back because it's dark. What are you going to do, kill me?"

I tense as she grabs my forearm, but find a way to speak eventually.
"I don't think I'll kill you, this time. The only light is at my home, and I have no clue if my amazing wings put out all the lights." I say, shuffling my wings around into a more comfortable position. She might not come with you, stupid.

"If I come with you, you won't hurt me? And you'll help me get home?" And I need new clothes. She had scraped herself scrambling around, and she would have been fine with it if not for the blood stain on her dress.
