I was wondering, how do you compose your backgrounds? Do you use refs. or is it all from imagination? I like how they come out. c:

I think of them myself ^-^ I suppose I have an in-mind reference xD Like the food-storage room I drew - I've seen old movies or video games that use crates and bags for vegetables. I used to have wooden panels in my house. The school I went to had tile floors. etc. I just use stuff from memories and experience.
