"Heh, at least it's a start..." Martha said, shrugging. "Maybe they're using some sort of ointment, or lotion, but who knows? They're just a lot of ways to do this. Heck, maybe they use a food stuff to turn others invisible... who know?" She asked. Glancing around the room and taking note of where each item lay, she walked over to a computer that was set up in the room. "Shall we start?"

Pharaoh stared at him with a tilted head, before blinking then nodding. A staring contest made the sake interested. Serpent, having finished her coughing bout, sat adjacent to Cyrus and Pharaoh, looking from one to the other as the birds switched their positions, to get a better view of the contest. They would make sure no one cheated.

Elsa scurried about, getting Anya the needed scalpel before running to help another doctor, and to help with the removed leg. "Geez, looks like we'll be seeing her again tomorrow... I say, by the end of all this, she's gonna hate us...." Sighed Elsa. Most kids would in the girl's situation, since they were removing her limbs. And Elsa's past fear was gone - the pace of the operation kept her busy, and thus kept her mind from thinking about the amputation. "Huh... I do hope the prosthetics work..."

"Uh...possible, I suppose. I have no idea what kind of food they would use...pickles?" He half-joked. Hey, maybe they did use pickles...but for some reason he wanted to crack up when he thought that. Invisibility Pickle Cream...wait, then what would be the reverse to turn visible...hm.... "Yeah...let's get going...so, visible beams...eraser..." Eraser...ha... "So, we gonna use a eraser?" He asked, trying to sounds serious. "I suppose so." Wow... "Okay, shoot those beams!" He nodded. "Uh...once we have everything..." He added.

"Ready, set, GO!" Cyrus said softly, but so everyone could hear at the same time. He stared into Pharaoh's eyes. When was the last time he had had a staring contest with a snake...? If he did, he didn't remember. This would be an interesting match. Maybe it wasn't such a great idea to have a staring contest with a snake...but they were already doing it and that was that.

"Supposed to be one of the most advanced type prosthetics. But it's version needs testing." One of the doctors called. "But they have to mix with the actual skin and bone and synthetic nerves, but how you do that would be to melt the skin and bone." He added. "Ick..." Anya muttered, taking the scalpel. Why was she supposed to actually melt the child's skin and bone?! It even creeped her out. "And once it's on, there's no going back." "You aren't very encouraging..." Anya muttered. She sighed. "Oh, and also we have to connect the limbs to the brain so they can respond to the command singles from it. Which I know requires brain-" "What?!" She sweatdropped. "If I'm not right, I'm supposed to actually melt her skin and bone, figure out to out the synthetics nerves in, connect them to the brain, all in one operation?!" She said. "It's quite complicated, but it will be useful..." "She is a child." "I think you should get back to work..." Anya nodded and bent down so she could view the arm. It was the while arm she was supposed to remove...and the iodine made it looks creepy because it contrasted against the child's pale skin immensely. She then glanced back to the now legless child. "I think she will hate us..." She agreed solemnly. She herself felt a bit sick at the sight if the open wounds...she had an urge to stitch it...but she was told not to, but what would the child think when she awoke to see she had no legs or her arm and they were all still open and was told she would get prosthetics but would need brain surgery?! She shook her head and hit back to work, making the first incision on the arm. The scalpel cut easily through the skin. She cut it until she made a full circle and saw blood coming out. Ick... This was one of the parts she hated. To get to the muscle, she had to pull the skin...and that was creepy... She took a breath and got a clamp thing and then out it oh the skin and pulled. This was creepy, seeing the skin reveal the muscle underneath. And it was bloody... She put the clamp down and then grabbed the scalpel, now cutting the muscle. When she was clean through, besides the fact it had been messy, she got the bone saw... She put it directly above the revealed bone and brought it down, separating the bone from the body. "Hey, she gonna have painkillers, right?" She said. She couldn't image what would happen if the poor child didn't have painkillers... "Of course." "Okay." She said, feeling a bit relieved. When the bone was separated, she sighed. "Now, I have to do the other leg..." She grumbled.

Martha chuckled, and began moving around the labs, setting up the items needed for the experiment, or at least checking those that were already in place."Everything seems alright so far. Shall we try? And Fredrick? I was thinking maybe like some sort of liquid that they could ingest that would turn them invisible for a period of time."

Pharaoh titled his head left and right, his tongue flickering back and forth. They birds watched the match silently, staying in their hunched positions as Serpent lay down. The birds would blink, or at least their version of it, only at times when the other didn't blink. However, every now and then the birds would cock their heads, when they found the conversation inside the room to be more interesting than the staring contest.

Surgery. Not again, the female thought, sighing. She hated those. A medic who couldn't stand blood. She laughed at herself. How pitiful she thought. Shaking her head, she moved about her business, helping with the removed limbs and helping out with the tools. Every now and then she would shiver at the sight of the blood, but she did her best to help. Now, what else did they need?

(GOOGLE! Cyrus...he won't win. XD)

"Eh...I suppose it is possible." Fredrick nodded. "I wonder if the 'liquid' would be visible...or invisible..." He mused. Though he kind of doubted it...just for some reason. He also felt the blanket and visible beam reflecting wasn't right, though he did feel like the blanket part was. And something with solar winds...hm...this would be interesting.

Cyrus was still staring. He hadn't blinked. This was going to be hard. His mind somehow wondered to a book he read about snakes. Then, realization of something hit him. Snakes...didn't blink. Why? Why did he choose to have a staring contest with an animal that never blinked? This would be impossible...

"Eh...I'm done." Anya announced, sighing in relief. Eh...that had been...revolting. She had always hated amputations the most...losing a limb... Like, ewww. She had just finished the otter keg amputation. Now she looked sadly down at the one armed girl lying on metal the operation table... What creeped her was that she hadn't stitched up...well, she couldn't because then they couldn't add the prosthetics... She walked over to the small sink and turned on the faucet. "I'm done for now." She said, peeling off the gloves and putting them in disposal. She washed her hands. "When is the other operation anyways?" She asked. "Tomorrow." One of the other doctors called. "That," She said. "Was something I don't do every day..."
