She flew down when closer and shifted into her human form.

It's dark but most houses have some lights on illuminating their porches or walkways

She walked through the streets or whatever they had, looking for any signs of the dragon or the scent.

The person who you now see is a female and looks to be in her early twenties doesn't answer sniffling weakly and staring after the one who left. You could spot tears in her eyes.

She grins "Yeah, yeah! You got it mister"

Kayden
Loki looks ready to go, he grabs a bag and hands you three leashes

I take the leashes then wait for him to lead the way

She opens her mouth to say something but a gurff voice calls a name and she turns "aw I gotta go, it was nice meeting you mister! good luck with your magic!" she waves goodbye and runs off

He starts heading into town "So kid, how long you been living here?" he asked as you guys walked

I shrug, waving good bye to the girl. I look up at the sky, trying to judge what time it is.

"Only a few years now, not that long. I live a short walk from the market," I tell him smiling. "You?"

You can pick up the scent it seems to hav e gone into the town, but once you enter it there are too many different smells to pick it apart
