"Well, I might as well introduce you two.," He said as he ignored her commment. " I have had a few weeks to get to know her, and despite what you may think, I am a rather good host. Here are a few things you should know: her name is Jean Delilah Halbert, dont bring up the scar on her left ear or else she gets defensive, bring up any scar besides the one on her ear and she becomes boastful and proud, and lastly, should you be inclined to braid her hair, then she will almost immeadiatly fall head over heels for you. She just loves the feel of hands in her hair. So, I'll send someone to fetch her for us. Any food requests ehile I'm at it?"

" No. I don't want anything from you. "

"Fine, starve yourself. I just would like to point out that you cant see my brother again of you starve and malnourish yourself before he finds you."

Atlas lazily walked towards the door that was gaurded by several men and pomed one of their shoulders.

"Hey, Jumal, can you go get Jean? Xolia might like to meet her, and plus, I havent seen her for a while. Oh, before I forget, can you have the little devil's favorite snack brought as well?" He asked politely, smiling as he did so.

The man gladly nodded his head, hurrying to fulfill his new task.

Atlas quietly walked back towards Xolia, going behind her and fiddling with her bonds.

"I cant imagine these are comfortable, so relax for a moment and let me untie them. You are probably going to try something stupid, but whatever, dont say I didnt warn you."

" I won't. Most likely. "

"That's not at all comforting," he said with a sincere laugh, working his way through her ropes. After a minute or so, they finally loosened enough for her to pull the rest off herself.

"But seriously, if you are going to try to hurt me or something, at least wait until Jean leaves. She has a sensitivity to violence as most kids should. One more thing to note; If you hurt her, I hurt you, but I doubt you'd deal damage to a ten year old."

She began untying the rest of her binds. " I'm not one to hurt someone who has done nothing to me. "

"I think we both know you are a bit more agressive then you let on, despite your partially royal backround. Anyway, she should be here any moment, so smiles and good behavior, ok?"

Just before he could carry on any longer, the swift patter of feet could be heard from the hall outside followed by the heavy foot falls of the gaurd Atlas had sent to fetch Jean.

"Speak of the devil. Anyway, ready to meet her?"

"...Fine. Let's just get this over with. "

"Oh come on. Its a kid! Dont women love kids? Whatever..."

The doorknob jiggled for a moment before a girl pranced into the room, excitedly running to hug Atlas. Jumal brought in some small tea cakes before dismissing himself, smiling at Atlas and Jean.

"Uncle Atty!" She shouted before realizing Xolia was there too. "Who are you?" She questioned quietly, becoming shy as she clung to Atlas tightly.

Xolia looked from Atlas to the little girl.
