She walks up to the trees, wishing she could touch them and give life.

She seemed to be floating past the mounds of trash and towards a large figure in the distance. After a while of floating, the mountains of garbage fell away. There was a cracked, grey plateau, spiderwebbed with lava and millions of blinking lights, a railroad stretched away into the distance. Hulking machines, like enormous iron beetles, sat beside it, snorting steam. Silhouetted against the sky, a jagged black tower stabbed up from the earth, wreathed in smog and billowing smoke.

She sneers in disgust, "What have they done?" She whispers looking at all the horrid machines that covered the earth.

All of a sudden, everything disappears for a split second and is replaced by more old, unused things. There's a strangled whimper from behind her and a strained voice that said, "Save me..."

She quickly turns around, her eyes widening when she sees Ethan. "Ethan..." She whispers.

She turned to only see something horrible. The small boy was dangling from wires that were hanging from the ceiling. They coiled around his arms, chest, and legs. They held him towards the ceiling, and then it became apparent that some were stabbing into him, plugged into his face, neck, and forehead like outlets. He dangled weakly, his blue eyes full of pleading. "Save me," Ethan said again as something huge and monstrous rose up behind him. And with that, the dream was gone.

"ETHAN!" She yells when she wakes up, panting and clutching her head tightly.

(Okay, Claire's dream is done)

Ash was up, as he usually is. He was in the room closest to the door out of the manor

Lin hears Claire's call. She'd stopped crying a while ago, but this upsets her again.
