A warm wind blew past zero and Nox

Nox looked around not liking the sudden wind.

Tails was alert as well.

"He isn't. That's an echidna spirit, one that's likely long dead. Not a powerful one, mind you. But he isn't the only... etheral being in the area." Zero looked up as the breeze brushed past him. "Evermore, fancy meeting you here."

Knuckles' pace gradually bacame faster and faster.

By this time Seaweed was getting fusterated and he shook his head no.

Tails did his best to keep up.

"That's the one you were talking to on the roof," Nox asked.

Cobalt frowned. 'Something must have happened that he keeps thinking about. He was made before me, so maybe he had it worse. Indigo being nearby might bring those old memories back.'

Aether's eyes searched the area around him, grateful that Kini had sent him out. Running was relaxing, a good way to chase off the ghosts of the past.

Indigo looked down at the ground at Cobalt's words.

"Judging by Indigo's behavior you are speaking the truth maybe I could unbind you and Aether from Indigo somehow." Kini thought aloud.

Cobalt raised his eyebrows. 'That would be quite a dangerous feat.'

Indigo tugged at the edge of the whip near his hands.

Kini noticed the movement and tightened the whip, "I don't care what Indigo did isn't right."

Indigo's breath spiked for a second at the tug, but he didn't wince. He only glared at Kini.

Cobalt shook his head. 'It would be legitimately dangerous. Unless you're a master in soul arts, there's a high chance for you to...well, die.'

Aether kicked at a large boulder, which cracked with a loud snap, echoing through the area.

Kini jerked for a second, "I'd be willing to transfer your two's bound souls from Indigo to myself if I had to after finding a master in soul arts."
