Lin just lays down, not even bothering to walk to the bed.

She raises an eyebrow, suddenly sprouting a waterlily from the air as it floats down on top of Ash's head. "Makes you look pretty." She smiles.

"Pretty?" He asked, sheathing his sword.

Puck finds Lin and wonders why she's on the floor. Well, he actually knew the answer to that. "Hey," he said. "We're going to an old psychic lady that will be able to tell you where the Iron Kingdom is, and so basically your brother," he muttered, carrying a bowl of strange, golden fruit, each about the size of a gold ball. "Oh yeah. I forgot to say morning. Mornin', princess."

,, Morning... ,, Lin mutters unenthusiastically.

She nods. She soon has the roots growing around the top of his head so it would stay like a hat. "Pretty." She repeats, nodding and crossing her legs.

"Not being all that social this morning, huh? Let's fix that," he said, offering a hand to help her up.

Ash tries to take it off. "What if I don't want to look pretty?"

She doesnt get up.

She smirks, an evil glint in her eye. "Then I'll make you look ugly." She immediately has dirty roots growing around his face and in his hair, making his hair dirty. "So which do you prefer? Pretty? Or ugly?" She smiles innocently.

Puck sighs. "Fine, I'll carry you." He picked her up and carried her out to the dining hall where everyone else is, the bowl of whatever in his free hand.

"How about...neither?" he said, managing to take the makeshift hat off. He shook his hair before running a hand through it to get the dirt out. He spotted the bowl in Puck's hand as he set Lin down. "Are you raiding the cellars now, Goodfellow?"

"Me? Stealing?" He flashed a devious grin and popped another gruit into his mouth. "In the house of my ancient enemy? What gave you that idea?" He plucked another fruit and tossed it to Claire and handed one to Lin. The fruit was soft and warm and had the texture of an overripe pear.

Grim leaped up onto the table and sniffed. "Summerpod," he stated, wrapping his tail around himself. "I did not think they grew in the Winter territories." He turned to Lin and Claire. "Do not eat too many of those," he warned. "That's what they make faery wine out of."

"Oh, let them try one," Puck said, rolling his eyes. "It's not going to turn them into rats or anything."

She doesnt even sniff it. She just stares at the fruit blankly.
