Aura stirs again, but doesn't wake up. You aren't sure what happened to him, but he sure seems exhausted.
"You're welcome!"
She smiles, her sharp fangs sending a chill up your spine. Then she gestures to Aura with her hand.
"Is this Faelora yours? I found him on the river bank shortly after I rescued you."

Angel lets out a cat-like chirp and gently licks the scratches on your arms. At first it stings, but then the pain fades away. Angel continues to lick your wounds as you continue down the path.
You spot a hut in the valley below. The path seems to be coming to an end and the hut isn't too far.
What will you do?

Carah yips, causing the Ny'vene to jump a bit and squawk. Your puffador pal returns to your side, but she watches the Ny'vene carefully.
You toss the treat at the Ny'vene, but it just bounced off her snout. She shakes her head and looks at you in confusion.
Most syleties would've accepted the treat, but this one is acting quite strange.
What will you do?

I freeze, breathing rapidly. I will myself to move, but unable to, I just stand there wide eyed.

She backs up against the back wall of the alleyway.
There's not enough room for the Ny'vene to fly off or escape.
Suddenly, the Ny'vene spoke. She was mumbling to herself, but it was a bit hard to make out the words. Her voice was very familiar.
The two females with spiked armour chase the Vulnyxies back down the path.
The remaining Lighira's turn to face you.
Suddenly, the female speaks.
"Are you alright little one?"
Did she just talk!?
How do you respond?

The Ny'vene slowly turns her head to look at you.
"You heard me... You heard me!?"
She let's out a panicked squeak and tries to fly out of the alley, but her wings are too large. She attempts to climb out, but there's nothing her claws can grab a hold of.
The claw marks she leaves on the walls look the same as the claw marks you found in the school.
The Ny'vene sits down with a sigh.
"Busted..."
