Jaylyn giggles seeming almost instantly happy for whatever reason. She uses both of your shoulders as a vault as she dives right over your head, gracefully landing close to Devon.
"Yes!! There were more of us, but not anymore!!"
"Yes, annoyingly."
Jaylyn gasps and looks at you with a huge smile on her face and asks.
You carefully place your hands high up in the rocks and pull yourself up onto a low ledge before sidestepping a few feet. You are quick to make it up three or four more ledges before you find yourself in an area that you can't get any higher from. You're about to climb back down a bit and find another way up the ledges, but a quite squeak stops you in your tracks.
You begin making your way through the forest in the direction of the lights, winding amongst trees and ducking under lower branches. It seems quite a lot further away than you originally thought it to be but after a lot of walking you make it to the edge of a field full of corn. You can't quite see over the top of it but you know that the town can't be that far past it.
"Ma'am I have no idea how you got here... I'm a guard of the crystal grounds and you have no right to know my name. This place is the mouth of a cave I've never bothered to explore and I've got no idea why you came here..."
Jaylyn giggles again and places two of her fingers in her mouth before letting out a shrill whistle. You can see Devon physically cringe and sigh quietly to himself. Within a few slow seconds, the entire open space was full of swirling spoke of different colours. Small shadows descend from the mist slowly forming into people. They both stand on either side of Devon giving you an odd stare.
"Jaylyyynnn, you found another onneee?"
"It appears she did!"
Jaylyn glares at both of them and growls.
"You can't kill this one!!"
