Alexander ignored angela and continued to play dead he kept a grip into Georgia worried that she would worry for the pup and let her maternal instincts take over and try and grab the pup and keep it as what would a human know about pups after all most mer died if they stayed in land any longer than a few moments

Georgia also continued to play dead ignoring the rest and seeing the pup was far away she had to give up on saving it

"you're here because of the massive dead zone spreading and getting too close to the bay. and because the facility needs some mer in captivity to keep us funded" she adds, crossing her arms. behind her, the little pup grabs a pen from her desk, beginning to chew on it. Angela takes the pen from her hands, putting it back in its holder. Gabriel takes notice of the pup, staring at intently. we've been talking about pups for a few years, though we haven't actually had any.

"and we're not going to breed you" she rolls her eyes "we've already got problems trying to find parents for the current pups we have from the recent breeding mill we busted" she sighs, looking down at the little pup fondly. "i'll take it" Gabriel blurts, swimming up to the edge of the pool.

Georgia sat up surprised that they wanted a pup more skin to her than a glowfish like he was most seemed to prefer their own kind and never mingled with others "human how many pups do you have?" She asked pushing her blonde hair out of the way wrapping her own tail around her body as some form on comort like a child would hold their blanket

Alexander bolted up at Gabriel sudden outburst and watched the scene from after the pup looked rather young bot even a year old he wondered if they had named her yet or did the pups mother name her before she passed he assumed the mother was dead from what Angela said

"yeah im not staying here in captivity to keep you guys funded do you know how sick that sounds 'where putting you guys in captivity so we get money'" she says mocking her "we disserve our freedom after all we dont need money to keep us up and running you do so i advise you to find someone else to run this on" she growls "this isnt even a proper place to keep any living creature they can easily get infected besides how would you like it if we locked you up in a cage because we need money? hm! you already put chemicals in our system and stole whatever he has your just using us and im not standing for it"

"You just want to use us," Malis said with a glare. Nana nods in agreement with Malis and the other mer(Jolynnb) that spoke.

Tenebris glances at the others, then at Angela. He doesn't see the point in a struggle, although that may well be his own avoidance. Hopefully, they won't get violent; that might end rather messily for everyone.

Georgia turned away from Angela "I hate to admit it human but I agree with them why should we be your prisoners some of us have families my best friend is about to have her first pup I should be there" she said and closed her eyes seeing the small pup in Angela arms with her brown hair and pink tail that was pink like hers remained Georgia of her sister who had brown hair who passed away two years ago
