Sylestia was messing up all day on mind end tbh))
Xin got bored of sitting around watching techno. Sure he cared for them but there was better things to do with his time. So he went off to find some bugs to watch

Alex scrunched up his nose at Nero, "Um, ew." He said, "I don't wanna see the food." He watched her nearly choke on her chewed up mess of nerds, giggling to himself. He slowly started eating the jellybeans he had been oh so graciously gifted.

"Gross!" I shout, punching Nero in the arm. I turn to Alex. "You said you wanted some," I say, sticking my tongue out at him. "Maybe you should specify how you want them next time," I say with a snicker.
Niki:
I slyly reach my hand into Alex's candy, grabbing a few before waving him to follow me into the theatre.
"C'mon, let's leave these guys out here and see if we can get this place up-and-running again," I say, munching on the candy I'd taken from him. Tommy was right. It still tasted fine.

I stick my tongue out right back at him, "Well at least your throwing arm is like jello so it didn't hurt."
I'm glad to share my candy with Niki, even opening the bag a little for him when I see him going for the jellybeans. I have always liked sharing with people, especially my food.
"I wonder how damaged the movie player is." I say, following after Niki, "You think there are any good tapes to play? Ooh! I wonder if this theater used a projector! My grandma has one of those I know how to use them!" His tired eyes now had a happy and excited glint to them.

I giggle at Alex and lead him into the first theatre room, skillfully picking the lock on the employee door. We walk up to the room with the projector. I immediately begin fiddling with it.
"Wow! This thing still works. It just doesn't have any power. If I could somehow set it up to work on some other power source..." I trail off, fiddling with the wires. "Alex, do you have a few of those solar-powered phone chargers? Didn't a shop around here sell them?" I ask him. "I think I could set this thing up on solar, I'd just need the solar panels and cords long enough to run this outside the theatre so it can get some sunlight," I say.

I watch Nikki fiddling with wires, amused at how fast he figured out that the projector still worked, even without power for a test run.
"I do have one but not with me. I have..." I reach into my pockets, pulling out a a grey box as big as my hand, "... a fully charged battery bank, though. Surely this thing doesn't require too much power to run right?"
I reach into my pockets again and pull out an aux cable that attaches to the battery bank, holding both items out to Niki.

Nero squinted at Tommy, punching him right back. "You know you're impressed, dork.", She remarked, putting the now empty box of candy into her backpack.
"You wanna go to that mini hardware store and break those leftover lightbulbs?", Nero asked suddenly, standing up and pulling her trusty baseball bat out of her backpack. A mischievous glint shone in her eyes.

I groan at Nero. "No way. Last time we did that Niki lectured me for a whole hour, and you got away with it scot-free," I grumble, throwing my empty nerds box at her face.
Niki:
I take the charger from Alex and pull a pocketknife out of my backpack. I look at Alex.
"You tell anyone I have this, and I'll get expelled. Just so you know," I tell him, turning back to the projector. Using electrical tape that was previously in the room, extra cords that were lying around, and the things Alex provided, I managed to get it hooked up to the charger. I clicked the power button and the projector whirs to life. I let out a whoop and punch the air.
