The girl whips her head around, almost hitting you both with her antlers. "Ah! Eron! so nice to see you. Any you must be the new recruit. I'm Lyra and this is Herachera." She then realizes something. "Oh no I'm sorry! I should've apologized first, I'm not used to being around so many people."

Eron slightly smiles before erasing it from his face. "I am sure you are busy, but-" He is cut off.

"No no! I 'm not busy at all! I was just, decorating a box...." Lyra steps a side and reveals a well-painted box, and a palette dirtied with colors. "It's a nervous habit." She then notices the Ny'vene. "Oh my Krinadon, what do we have here?!" She begins to fawn over the small dragon-like hatchling.

"A tactical thought, and i appreciate the gesture." Eron nods in agreement. "Well why did you join up with the Coalition? I'm sure many would like to live peacefully in a small town." Shade nods slightly, and Eron pats her ghostly mane, she makes a slight purr noise.

"Well," Shade exits the tent, with a few papers in her jaws. Eron takes them and sorts them a bit. 'We have a small request from the Jaria Flower Village, their leader has a problem with a few Shadows terrorizing the village. She asks us to come by and help sort it out." He finishes and thinks for a moment. "If we go out that far we might run into a few Shadows on the way, you still up for it?"

"Yes, I am. Being able to heal generally helps with going long distances, with or without combat."

"Ah...I should have worded my response better...I only told you how Spirit became one of my battle pets. I received a request from a village that was in dire need of help from a wave of shadows. I brought Spirit, and two other sylesti with me, Tempest and Aria. When we arrived at the village it was really bad. The village prides itself on having many Sylestis and most of them had become shadows. Luckily, there were other people and sylestis that fought against the shadows. I left Aria and Tempest at the village to help guard the village and make sure no more shadows came back. When I heard about the coalition I thought of it as a way to help stop the source of the problem. Then again nobody knows where the witch is." I say and continue to stroke Spirit's mane.

If you're willing to go and fight i'll help." Lyra says, Heuchera coos with glee.. "No worries! Heuchera and I know our way in a fight, especially when we have to protect someone!" She stands tall, though clearly nervous about the whole ordeal. A nasty growl invites you both into the forest.

"Well then, let us head out." Eron starts to walk for a few paces before Shade begins to follow him. They exit into the forest and near a cleared path, the trail winds down into three paths. "The first path will take us down into the main city, Forium. The second path goes to the outer villages, and the third will take us deeper into the forest." Eron thinks for a moment. "The requestee nver said where her village was, so this is a bit troubling." Shade whimpers in frustration.

"Well yes, and that is why we are here. We need to find the Witch and destroy the source of her power." Shade yips with affirmation. "And speaking of her darkness," Eron points his spear toward the entrance, where a loud rustling can be heard. "It seems we have one of her many visitors." There seems to be shouting, and screaming.
