He disappeared momentarily back into the small cottage opening and shutting multiple draws looking for something. He smiled when he found whatever he was looking for and ran quickly back over to the door holding them out towards you. In his hand was a small turquoise stone of some kind with a rune engraved into it.

I'm sorry for replying late,
yesterday photos were not working properly so I decided to wait until they were fixed today so no one missed anything.
It whistled again shaking its head as if to say no, or maybe yes? Its actions continued to confuse you as it climbed gracefully down the side of the building ending on the railing of the balcony. Its tongue flicked through the air sort of like a snake and ducked down happily growling.
Should you pat it?

You wander off into the trees, avoiding every single shred of white you possible could. You really wanted to avoid those whispering trees if you could. After walking past what seemed like thousands of trees and the occasional bush full of brightly coloured flowers, you came to a small stream.

You continue down the path, fear and maybe even regret continuing to wash over you. Voices filled your ears, there were people near by? You walked further forward, finally seeing large and small wooden buildings dotted around in front of you.
He rubbed the back of his neck and laughed awkwardly.
"You really ar-aren't from around here are you?"
You shook your head and he smiled softly taking one out of his pocket and slipping it over his neck. His form brightened for a second, glowing a faint yellowish orange before it faded completely.
"They all d-do different things, this one gives the user the ability to grow plants faster than they should be able to in nature. Let m-me demonstrate..."
He shifted and looked towards a small withered plant sitting at the edge of one of the plant boxes. His eyes lit up, shining a bright yellow and the plant began to rapidly shoot up to the height of the others, large red roses of some kind blooming from small buds. He looked back at you, his eyes slowly dulling.
"S-See? The o-one you have makes it possible for you to fly."

I smile and reach my hand up to gently rub its snout. "Maybe you're the guardian of the inn." I think out loud. "And you protect from any intruders." I slid my hand up to its head.
