The masked, limp figure on the ground didn't say anything. They hardly seemed to move, the only sign that who ever it was was still breathing was the rise and fall of their chest.

Sanders drew the gun holstered at his side out of it's sheath. Ben, who had been feeling sick from seeing the body earlier, moved to hide behind the sergeant and to quite possibly barf (his memes out).

Kolivan started to move forward towards the limp figure, but Sanders mom-armed him, blocking his path. Gail managed to get around the group, her knuckles white from the tight grip she had on her mace. She stopped about a feather's length away from the limp form and nudged it with her boot.

"Oh-my-goshness-guys-he's-dead-too!" Chris hissed out, his baby blue eyes wide with astonishment as Gail tapped the figure in its side with her boot. He tugged gently on the ends of his cape as he stayed towards the back of the group.

"He's breathing, dimwit." Lucas snarled, though he seemed wary as well. He spoke louder now though as if trying to see if it would wake the unconscious form up. Or maybe it was just because he knew the first person had left.

Chris was offended. "Well," he said, mildly sternly. "I can't see that well in this lighting. You might be wrong."

"Both of you just please stop arguing." Dee said, leaving the corpse and walking towards the second person. She dropped down beside him, trying her best to ignore the sounds of Kai's gagging. She took one hand of the person in hers, her fingers encircling the wrist to take note of his pulse. "Yeah. He's breathing kinda steady- just a little too slow."

Next she reached over for the mask, releasing the wrist and putting the hand at her sword's hilt. She glanced up at the others. "Get ready, we don't know what'll wake... it...up." She hooked her fingers around the edge of the mask. The blood was a strange texture on her fingers as she began to lift the white face.

Gail kept a tight, steady hold on her mace, "D-- Wonder?-- Woman, what if it's a trap? Yes they may be unconscious but for how long?"

The mask, which had a bloody crack in the side, refused to budge after the slack in the bands that held in place became tense. The boy was surprisingly warm to the touch, almost too warm for someone who had been out in the cold for who knows how long. Suddenly, they began to stir.

Gail and Sanders both snapped to attention at an instant, Sanders flipping the safety off on his gun, and Gail raising her mace.

Ben successfully managed to cough up what little he had in his stomach-- that little being stomach acid.

Dee scrambled backwards, regretting it as soon as she did because of the short skirt. She ungracefully pulled on the sword. It was surprisingly comfortable in her hands as she held it out in front of her. Her hazel eyes were fixed on the figure and she didn't dare shift her focus to the rest of the team.

"What happened?" Kai whispered from behind Chris, unable to see what was going on. Chris turned and tried to mime for him to stay quiet as Lucas came to stand beside Deanne's tiny form.

Gail slowly backed away, holding her mace up threateningly. She glanced over at Dee, mouthing out, 'Should I conk him now?' and motioning to the stirring form a few feet away.

Blood splattered and stained the pavement as the figure struggled to sit up. The boy seemed to radiate an eerie calm, and didn't seem phased by the crazy bird with a mace and the sergeant with a gun pointed at him.

Ben shivered, "Sh** man, that's--" The boy gagged again.

"Ummm, you good, you don't look too-" Chris started to say in a nervous outburst. Lucas smacked his shoulder and the man went silent, but still with a pout on his face. The two of them watched as the scene unfolded before them.

Dee tried her best to stay calm under the icy stare, jutting her chin out. She stood almost directly in front of the unknown person, The Sword of Athena glinting slightly even without much light around at all. "Don't move," the tiny girl said, trying to be as authoritative as possible.

The masked figure looked up slowly, he paused as if calculating his next move carefully. He wasn't any bigger than Dee, only about an inch and a half taller maybe, but he was most definitely scarier. He was stock still for what felt like an eternity, before suddenly sweeping his leg out beneath the sword wielding girl.

The visible parts of Ben's face were pale. The boy tightened his iron hold on Sanders's arm.

Deanne couldn't move fast enough, and she stumbled and fell. As she tried to get back to her feet, she suddenly realized she had been surrounded by a green barrier of light. She put her hands up towards it- it almost felt solid but the texture was difficult to explain- nothing she'd felt before.

She turned to glance at Lucas, behind her, who looked just as surprised. He glanced at the glowing barrier and then his glowing ring and then the- not glowing -masked boy in front of them.

No one moved again, but Dee let out an annoyed growl at her unknown adversary. "Who the hell are you?" She hissed. "What do you and your... companion from earlier... want?"

The figure staggered to their feet without answering. Gail quietly stalked closer to the figure from behind, and just as she was about to hit him with the blunt end of the handle to her mace, the figure, rather sluggishly, turned around and grabbed her wrist. Gail took a second to recover from shock, but it was too late. She had been disarmed. The masked figure wielded the mace, a bit unbalanced, but still wielded it, and kicked her in the lower abdomen. Gail gagged and stumbled back.

"Maybe he doesn't talk?" Chris inquired, though his feet were staggered and his hands curled into fists. Just as the unknown figure turned, Lucas' green shield around Dee flickered away and the brunette launched herself at the boy. She had dropped her sword when he had tripped her, but now the rope from earlier was in her hands as she jumped onto his back. With no regrets, she tugged on his dark hair, a war cry escaping her lips as she attacked.
