He slightly jumped when someone talked to him.
" Yes, they're fine, it just part of these. " He said pointing to his ears. He still swished his tail, and flicked his right ear. He had said it a bit snappy, and hadn't meant to.
" Sorry." He muttered.

"Why don't we start introductions now? There is a lot of stairs between us and the third floor." Clara said from where she was in the middle of the group. "I'll start! Hi everyone, my name is Clara Haring if you didn't already know. I work here at PEAC, I'm the 375th employee hired here! Let's see I guess that it really!" Her tone was happy, as if she was trying to lighten the mood. "Alright! Who's next?"

Rivaan rolled his eyes slightly. He strayed to the side of the stairs, trying to avoid any and all eye contact, he really wasnt in the mood to socialize, but it was nice of Clara to try and brighten things up. He wrapped his tail around his waist slightly, it had a habit of swishing and hitting people. He waited for someone to go ahead and introduce themselves.

Halfblind tipped her head and stopped the shifting of her hair color. "I am Halfblind, Prisoner 53," she said. "Obvious name."

Odin looked at the boy,then the others."I'm Odin,patient number seven." he nodded at the others."nice to meet cha'll."

Animi:"I'm Animi,number 23!" her wings poofed out a bit then back

i stayed in the shadows and said quietly, "my name is midnight meadows, number 20." my tail and ears twitched nervously.

"Puppy is Shilu! Shilu 17. 17. 17." The dog woofed softly.

When the walk fell silent for a moment he decided to answer, seeing that the rest of the group didn't wish to speak up at the moment. "I'm Myles, my number is 1165. I don't rightfully know exactly why I'm here, other than I seem to have hurt some people..." he fell silent for a moment not sure if he should continue with that statement or just leave it at that. "I've been here two weeks."

"And as most of you know I'm Waylon, a caretaker here. I started working here nearly six years ago. I have a family back home that I have seen in three months, and if doesn't look promising that I will get to see them any time soon." The man gave a rather sad smile at this and lowered his head. They should be getting close to the third floor. "On a different note, does anyone of you happen to have an ability to pick locks, or something like that?"

Halfblind tilted her head and ran through her mental catalogue of creatures she knew she could shift into. "I might be able to... hm. How big's the keyhole?"
