There was so much noise in the world these days. Clenching his eyes shut Reaper tried to sleep through the sounds. It was unbearable! For over a thousand years he had lived here without bother and now this?! How was one to sleep? Snorting he stood, sending the furs and feathers he collected for a bed tumbling to the ground. It wasn't as comfortable as the skulls, but after having crushed George he couldn't take a chance. Yawning a bit the drake stretched looking over at the neat rows, Ned stacks of skulls he had dug from the graveyards for years. They numbered over 10,000 now, and the number just kept rising. With a satisfied huff he took to walking through the long entrance to the cave. A hearty and steep walk always seemed to keep humans at bay. Once out in the sun he spread his wings and took to the sky. Just a tad bit of food before he went back to sleep for the day. Reaper normally only came out at night, to avoid unwanted attention, though today was different. With recent human activity it had pushed more dragons into his territory. this could mean losing his life, or worse his 'people'. Marking his claim wasnt such a bad idea after all.

"I have an affinity for books and other forms of fine literature" Kazu said, holding up his book. "Hey, is your lair near here? I need a place to hide out until it's safe to fly again" Kazu asked

Shoshoni dropped from the sky with a yelp, a well aimed shot, whether it was an accident or not, it had hit her in the wind, rendering her unable to fly. She collapsed near Reaper's den, trying not to scream in pain.

A well set swoop granted him a small deer as a meal, though it weighed him down tremendously making the flight back laborious. Panting he lowered himself and readied to land when he saw the dragon near his home. Dropping the kill in the entrance before taking up the smaller dragon in his claws. "What are you doing here?!" He growled.

"I... I can't fly, I can't move, my wing!" She squeaked, holding up her wing, with a large hole in it from where she had been shot, some blood visible from her arm where the bullet had deeply grazed

"Oh, sure! And anyways, I have a few books stashed.... Somewhere in my observatory...." Aurum said, landing on the mossy and green dome. "Now's the fun part!" She jumped down to a pile of dead Ivy, flipped a switch, and beamed. Gears and cogs groaned, but the dome opened around the telescope to reveal the warm, cozy place the hoarder called home.

"Woah, this is amazing!" Kazu observed the place. "I might have some extra gears and stuff you might like back in my den... but it's quite some ways from here" Kazu observed

The drake narrowed his eyes before letting her go. "Then walk, I have no time to deal with your pain." He huffed before picking the deer up and carrying it away. "And you better not lead the humans here...."

Thief woke up with a groan of pain. He was in a cave, a hole nearly having been fatal in his neck. Thief touched his neck gingerly, then removed it with a gasp of pain. "******!" He hissed. There was a key not too far from him and he rushed over towards it. It looked old and broken, but Thief loved it because it was still a key!
