My mouth hung open. 'How on earth could a giggly, bubbly girl like her have such a tragic past!?' Looking at how she wanted to move past it, I pushed the thought to the back of my mind. "It's falloutboy, by the way. Real music." For a moment there was just silence as we walked, which I didn't like. "Hey, since you told me yours, it's only fair if I tell you mine. It's not that exciting, though." I chuckled, shoving my hands into my pockets. Unsure of whether she could hear me over the deafening loudness of the music, I spoke. "I never knew my mother. I always assumed that she died, but I imagine her to be amazing, and beautiful." Smiling, I continued.

"I was raised by my foster mother, Catherine Miller. She was okay, but she was always everywhere but home. And most of the time, so was she." I sighed happily. "The only person that I cared about was my adoptive sister, Sadie. She was amazing, and when I found out about my powers, she understood and supported me. We always spent time together, since I was fourteen. That's when I knew she was the best sister I could have ever had. And she was my only friend too." Shrugging, I mumbled, "That's why I'm so glad that you're so nice to me." After saying that, I really hoped that she hadn't heard. But, a part of me almost wanted her to.

She wrapped her arms tighter around his neck and said "I'm glad you're nice too, not many people are to me, I guess I'm just weird, besides, it's not like you'll never see your sister again and when you do, I'm sure you'll be closer than ever after having to spend time apart." Resting her head on his neck, she drifted off for a few minutes.

She awoke just over five minutes later and looked around, "Um... Do you actually know the way to the lake? Because at he moment, we're not going in the right direction." She chuckled, still kind of surprised she managed to stay on the piggy back ride after falling asleep.

I paused, realising that I had indeed been going in the wrong direction. "Oh, for god's sakes, I'm a freaking idiot..." I muttered. Chuckling, I said, "I told you, I've only been here a few hours. How would I know?" Setting her down, I asked, "So which way's the lake then?"

Closing her eyes for a few seconds, Vicky held up her arm and spun around a few times, before stopping. "It's.... That'a'way!" She yelled and pulled him with her as she ran.

When they arrived at the lake, she tossed her shoes to the side and pulled of her jacket, dumping it on the sand along with her socks. "Come on, slowpoke! You're meant to be a Knight right?" Reaching the waters edge, she turned and grinned at Leon, before jumping in and disappearing.

(Leon)
I jumped a little, before turning a little red. "We're...um...swimming?" I asked awkwardly. 'What the hell was that!? OF COURSE WE'RE SWIMMING, IT'S A FRICKING LAKE!' Quickly, I retried. "I'm not an idiot, so let me rephrase that: You want to swim...with me?" I made a face of confusement and put my mp3 neatly next to her shoes. "Also, the knight isn't meant to go swimming with his lady." I then realised how DUMB I AM.

Poking her head from the water, Vicky began to laugh, "You're not the brightest knight are you Sir Leon" She giggled. Flopping back in the water, she called out, "Just get in here you fool." Peering at him once more she burst into laughter. "Why are you turning red? It's just swimming for god sake! I don't understand you one bit." She grinned.

(Leon)
I awkwardly removed my many layers (my beanies, my scarf and my coat), as well as my shoes and shirt, and meekly walked over to the edge of the water. A small wave washed over my toes. The water was nice: not too cold but cool enough to save you from the sun (I don't know why I dressed in so many layers, probably to hide from people. It was really inconvinient.). Like I was walking for the first time, I awkwardly stumbled into the water, only planning to go in as far as the water went up to my waist, no further. Returning to what she had said, though, I retorted, "I-I'm not red..!" I tried to peer into the surface of the water just to check. "...Am I?"
"COWAAABUNGAAAAA!!!"
I turned around quickly, to see a very pale figure grinning wildly, who was running towards the water and jumped...right in front of me.

(Astroth)
I surfaced the water, spitting out the stuff that had gotten into my mouth to be greeted by a very angry black haired teen. His top half was now soaked, probably because of me, and he...looked...hilarious. His face was red from anger and I could almost see the smoke rising from his ears. Giggling, I rambled, "I'm sorry...ppffffft...for..BWAHAHAHAH!" I couldn't hold it back, and I fell backwards, holding my sides as he tried to figure out what the heck to say. Wiping a tear from my eye, I hyperly shook his hand and then offered it to the girl. "The names Aster! Short for none of your business! Sorry for interupting ya, but it's great to meet some interesting characters around here! I'd love to hang with ya, if that's okay?"

"You are too... Red I mean... Um.." She stared down at the water awkwardly, "Is it because I took off my socks, Oh dear Lord, how scandalous of me." She giggled to herself and glanced up at Leon who was meekly standing near the edge of the water, barely in it. "Don't be such a wimp Sir Leon!" She called, drifting further into the water. "It's not..." Interrupted by a loud yell and huge splash, she was pushed under the water by the sheer force of the splash.

Rising from the water, she spewed it from her mouth and finished her sentence in a whisper "...Knightly." Wet hair hung infront of her face, causing her to push it from her face, with the exasperated look it held. Carefully, she opened one eye to look at who did this and noticed that the water from her mouth had landed all over his face. Her eyes widened considerably and she rushed an apology. A few minutes later she took his hand and shook it, "If you don't mind hanging about with us... Then I don't."

(Astaroth)
My eyes lit up in a childish manner. "Really?? Oh boy, that's great! Mostly because I have no idea how to get back to the cabins, but it's so great to make two new friends, and on my first day too! Speaking of cabins, I haven't been claimed yet but I really don't mind which one I'm in, but it would be super duper great to be put in one with either of you! Oh boy, also later we're meant to be doing a capture the flag. Doesn't that sound awesome?? I don't know a lot about it, but I bet it'll be a blast!" I took a huge breath after my sentences were rambled out and I smiled shyly. "Sorry, I can get a bit hyper."

I snorted. "A bit? You could blow up a hot air balloon with all of that!" I sighed both in annoyance and relief. 'At least Aster is nice...' I looked back up at him and he had frozen in his spot. His eyes were droopy and a stupidly big smile was still plastered on his face. I waved my hand in front of his face, but he didn't react. "Vicky, I think we broke him..." I mumbled. Then, without any warning, he face planted the water, and slowly began sinking. "Oh god!" I yelled, slinging his arm around my shoulder and dragging him to shore. "Vicky, what do we do!?" I asked worriedly, and a glowing symbol of a branch dipped in water appeared above his head. "Wow, what a weird time to be claimed..." I mumbled to myself.

Vicky smiled at him and said "That's fine, we can show you where the cabins are...." She paused for a second, "I mean I can... Not too sure about him. They are all pretty great cabins, I mean except some can be a bit judging so I would advise trying to be normal... I wasn't, it didn't work out too well." She laughed at his hyperness, "It's fine if you're hyper, it's quite funny actually... Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean like I want to laugh at you or anything but capture the flag is pretty good, except if you're teamed with Aphrodite cabin, they all don't do it and spend their time looking in mirrors instead, it sucks."

Blinking rapidly, Vicky stared in shock at the boy who lay face first in the water. After regaining her thoughts, she walked to the shore with Leon and stares down at Aster "Son of Hypnos huh? Makes more sense." She laughed slightly, grabbing a bit of water and throwing it on his face.
