You continue on, still following the howl. Surely you would find the wolf? Jumping over a river, you spot a wolf up ahead. It has not seen you yet. Relief floods through you. What do you do?

I smell if there is a different pack scent in the area, or hostility scent

You step near the border closest to you. At this point, your packmate has joined you. You both howl, barely avoiding the border. You can hear howls of the pack replying to you. What do you do?

You sniff the small fox. Its jaws were open, silently wailing. You don't know what to do. Out of instinct, you curl around both cubs. Perhaps warming it up would help? The wolf cub snuggles against you, but the fox still cries. You aren't sure what to do. All of a sudden, the cries become softer, into a tiny whine. It was still. The wolf pup immediately stands up and nudges its friend, but there was no response. You stand up yourself, and gently pick up the fox. You carry it outside, and drop it softly on the ground. The pup followed you outside, strength returning to it. What do you do?

You step forward into it's line of sight, It stares at you. At least there wasn't any hostility or danger in the air. You both just looked at each other curiously.

You try at another border. Using the same tactic as before, you howl. There is also a response, but this time only from the alpha of the pack.
