"I did it because I can. Because the undead had infected the west wing..." His voice trailed off, but gave his answer straight and true. Something was wrong. It was getting too quiet. The fire was still going, there were still screams - the screams. And the.... Moans? There must be more zombies.
"More are coming, more are there..." He muttered, his eyes flickered yo the directiion of the now burnt hospital.
"It's too quiet. That's what." They had been so caught up with themselves, that they'd hadn't realized the dead were moving in.

Katherine looked in the direction of the hospital seeing the first zombie coming down the street. "Your choice, run or fight. " She says looking at the boy, occasionally glancing back as more zombies came. Her voice monotone again, expecting an answer quickly.

Action. That's what he needed to do to get his stress off his shoulders for awhile. Reaching in the inside of his coat, he took out a modified pistol. He had made compact bullets that could break through a skull, but had a high acid level liquid inside that would mean quick demolition of a zombie. He had 15 bullets in all. Enough, hopefully. He always had his knives, or he could run if he needed to.
"I don't kill to save."
(Almost fell asleep typing)

Katherine let a slight smile slip through as she moved to the side of him, pulling out two pistols and pointing them in the zombies direction. She glances at the boy, she still hadn't known his name. If he ran, she would run, not stupid enough to fight all of them alone, knowing she wouldn't have enough bullets and knives for that.

Liza stared around the empty street with worried eyes, her hands clutching her pink backbag nervously.
Seeing the street miraculously empty, as far as she could tell, she began to creepy down it. Every alley she passed she nervously glanced into and she kept becoming even more scared a zombie will approach.
Gulping, the little girl fondled her dagger strapped to her thigh, it's weight comforting to the child.
Halting still, the girl stared at a far off zombie with weary eyes. She hoped the recent grim and rotten skin she had plastered to herself still had it's 'zombie smell', as she called it.
She learnt, after a few days, that a zombie can tell another through smell...she thinks. But she knew old zombie flesh doesn't have the same safety as fresher zombie flesh...
And she appreciated how this flesh seemed to still be doing its job as the zombie didn't cast her a second glance.
Taking a shallow breath, Liza stumbled down the street in search of someone. That was something else she learnt to do, stumbling. Zombies never walked perfectly and doing so, or doing anything considered 'normal' was like dangling a red flag over your head and shouting 'I ain't a zombie!' at the top of your lungs.
Breathing in nervously, Liza spotted a bunch of zombies.
The girl's breathing hitched and that moment of hesitation, that moment of fear, caught a zombie's attention who turned towards her.
Liza then tried to act 'zombie' like and stumbled to a metal trash-can, but her fear was getting to her and made her movements robotic and stiff.
If the zombies didn't just notice her fear, they also noticed her movements.
The girl then climbed onto the trash-can and used it as support to grab the ledge of a window and she struggled up, knocking the bin over.
That's when a zombie attempted to grab her leg.
The girl screamed and kicked the zombie in the face, causing it to let out as its fragile skull broke. She scrambled as far as she could on the thin ledge, zombies now trying to pile up to reach her.
(Huge reply but yeah...hope it is OK)

Leon wake away seeing that no one wanted to stop him, at least he had his gun back though. He still felt weak but not as bad as he had at least. He slips into the alley way seeing a hoard of zombies coming from the hospital. He quickly takes them out, being sure to stay far enough away to not get bit. More zombies were coming though making him back away bumping into the girl. "What are you going here?" He asks yelling over the gun fire.

Liza covered her ears upon hearing the gunfire but the small girl then turned to look at the man. " I...I was just looking for safety! " she cried out before glancing at the zombies in fear. If only she hadn't messed up, then she might of been able to make it through the horde without them realizing she was a human and not a zombie...

"Stay close." Leon says standing in front of her. "Don't run please." He says knowing he could not chase her.
