Mono closed her eyes, thinking about how Mava and Neth were doing right now.

(Sounds good! Note that memories only last a few moments, so for simplicity let's say Mono sleeps after the memory so that time wont get confusing)

Mono sighed, looking over at the woman next to her, then at the man.
Speaking of Neth and the others, like usual, Neth was sitting by the water, brooding like she always did, when did she not? Anyways, when she looked up from the water, she saw a tiny brown kitten walking down to the beach.
The little kitten flopped down on the sand, getting himself up just to flop down again. Odd. There was a large scar on the kitten's right side, though that didn't seem to bother him.

Neth got up, going over to the kitten and picking up, gazing at the scar.
The kitten didn't seem to mind this, other than it pawing at Neth's hand.

"Right.." Mono waited for the woman to get up, since she had no idea where their bedrooms were, or if they even had bedrooms.
The kitten then turned into a quite large dragon, though its still a baby. Instead of it having a scar on it's side, it's wing was halfway ripped off, or at least it looked ripped off.
"Oh. It's not a human's pet. What are these things called again?" Neth put the creature down, staring at it's deformed wing.
