Both of your companions rock back and forth only taking a few more steps forward before darting back to your side, they didn't seem to have any clue where they were going. However, the tiny aquatic creature seemed to know exactly where you needed to go. It skipped down the hallway, looking back at you every few seconds.
You wander out of the water and pause for a second, before descending back into the woods. Trees surround you on all sides and there is little to see anywhere nearby. Maybe you could find a path? A companion? Climb a tree? Figure out where you are?
The room was pretty bare, but you guess that it was designed that way. The large carvings in the walls were obviously the main feature of the room and the table in the middle was merely a place to admire them from.
She pauses for a second and turns her head slightly, staring deep into the fog that now surrounds you. You notice a faint human outline strolling threw it headed straight towards your position.
"Ugh, not the killjoy..."
You glance back to the darkened human outline just in time to hear a monotone voice echoing from the fog.
"JAYLYN! I told you not to move, stop running off to kill things!"

It bounds along through the hallways, turning every few minutes, you follow not far behind with both of your familiars. Finally, after what seems like hours the pathway is lit by natural light descending down through small holes in the roof. As you approach the very end of the hallway, the entire space is lit by pale orange light. The tiny aquatic creature pauses and crouches down to a more defensive stance.
Jaylyn giggles and twirls around in a small circle, while the supposed 'killjoy' just sighs leaning heavily on his staff.
"This is Devon he's a major killjoy. Doesn't let me have any fun!"
Devon sighs again and extends his hand to you.
"Pleasure to meet you miss..."
What should you do?

Whitecloud joins it, stamping her hoof. On my shoulder, Rosepetal tenses, and I try to see beyond Whitecloud and the aquatic creature, to see what spooked them.
