(Okay, this is where the rescuers come...)

An ice spear flew through the air, striking Ironhorse between the ribs, bursting into steam as the fire engulfed it. The horse screamed a high-pitched whistle, and whirled, hooves sparking as they struck the ice.

She just lays there.

She nods, "Right... So did she get the fey from her mother or father?"

They were at the ice cavern now. "Father," Ash and Puck said at the same time. They gave each other murderous glares before going into the cavern, finding Lin and the iron horse.
Puck smirked at the bewildered horse made of iron. "Hey, ugly!" he called. "Nice place you got here! Here's a thought, though. Next time, try a hideout a little more resistant to fire than an ice cave!"

Lin just lays there.

"W-wait... You did not just both say 'father', did you?" She asks, her eyes wide, she doesn't even acknowledge the giant horse made of metal.

Ash nodded. "She's the Seelie princess. Where do you think the idiot over there got the name from?"

Ironhorse screamed and charged, scattering gremlins like birds as he bore down on Puck. Puck didn't move, and the great iron beast knocked him flat in the ice, trampling him with his steel hooves. "Oh, that looked painful," called another Puck, a little farther down. "We really need to talk about your anger management issues."

She just watches silently.

"Game changer..." She mutters, her eyes wide in surprise. She watches the Ironhorse in boredom, "Just stick an arrow between his gears." He shrugs.

"The fire would eat it up," Ash muttered. Ironhorse charged the second Puck, moving farther away from Lin, gremlins following the horse. Ash sighed. "If you're not going to get her, I will." He went over to Lin, and clamped his cool(literally cold) hand over her mouth, just in case she screamed.
