The woman whose name she still doesn't know calmly picks up her own axe and casually starts chipping away at the stone. Bukhali is still doing so as well.

Mono sighed, beginning to mine like the others were, wondering when the memory will end.

Nearly the moment she starts, her arms start to ache.

Mono winced at her arms hurting, but tried to ignore it as she went on.

"Any sign of Iscarab?" The unknown woman asks.

"No." Bukhali responds with a sigh. "He's known for wandering off, though. I'm sure he'll return in a day or two."

Mono kept mining, listening to the conversation as she did.

"Did she say why this time?"

"He never does. Why would she this time?"

"Well, there's only so many times she can get away with it before Amanzi finds out he keeps leaving."

Mono kept listening in, quite curious of the story.

"This is what, the fourth time? What have you been telling him?"

"That his leg is still bad, and it slows her down. By a lot."

"Have you been telling her to limp, then?"

"Yes. He'll be fine. I just wish she'd let us know where it is she's going."
