(I decided to separate Almon and Astra)
Astra followed behind Almon, and was about to sit down near him when she thought she saw someone familiar. She turned around, almost tripped as she made her way to Nicote, Cole, and Lio. "What are you guys doing here?"

"I saw that we have... chores or something... posted on the board above the elevator. This place is huge. Kitchen has the same stuff as yesterday night. Not sure if I'm hungry any more."

"Affection? And...okay..." He didn't understand what humans called affection. He thought it cuddled and shivered faintly. Ih,cuddles.But this is not a cuddle.This is..a hug...its different.Yeah,and it's Riley so theres-WHAT THE HECK AM I THINKING?!?!

Jack shrugged. "Yeah." He lifted up a heap of paste up with his spoon and eyed it suspiciously. "Exactly the same every day. They make it in batches, each lasts a few days. You have it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner."

His mind was already whirling. Today wasn't looking up exactly, but it wasn't... Okay, they are miles under the earth, it is acceptable to say that things were down.
