Cobalt plucked the orb of his belt and turned it on. An image of Sonic slowly wavered in, with a distant background of the Aquatic Ruins. He grimaced. 'Oh, that's perfect,' he said. 'Now I need to teleport to another island? Again!?' Tapping the orb's surface (while muttering something about how stupid it was for Westside to be so far), it glowed brightly, enveloping him in light. Seconds later, another bright light appeared on Westside Island, about half a mile from Sonic's position. Brushing himself off, Cobalt started walking to the Aquatic Ruins.

Cobalt narrowed his eyes, looking at the Aquatic Ruins, still far off. He frowned. 'Maybe I should have teleported directly there instead of focusing on getting near Sonic.' Picking up his pace, he continued.

Suddenly, Cobalt's head smacked into a hard surface, causing him to stumble backwards, dazed. Apparently the Ruins liked to look as far as it likes. Grumbling, he looked up, observing its surface.
