He waved his claws around. *I cant pass as easily, and dont have a family who suspects me. In fact, I have no family at all. Im an orphan.*

"So what do you do?" Kate asks Matt, tilting her head a little.

He replied, *I have sharp crocodile teeth, sharp claws, and crazy regen. I can regrow limbs and even my head if I get decapitated, as long as my head gets set somewhere where its still alive, like on ice.*

"Cool. I do fire stuff."

*im surprised you and your sister get along. Your as different as... well, fire and water.*

She shrugs. "We're twins. Plus, mom's dead and dad's missing, so we've only really got each other."

"Oh" Asuriel suddenly felt bad "I'm sorry." she fiddled with the coin she'd used to demonstrate her ability

Matt winced. *ouch. I know how you feel. Well, sorta. I dont have anyone to rely on.*

Kate shrugs. "I'm used to it. I guess we sorta had parents, since our aunt raised us, but she's a pretty bad mother figure and that doesn't change the fact that it still makes us orphans."

Asuriel started to feel awkward. Her family was pretty anti-sprite, but it was still family. She thought for a moment, before speaking up. "We all got bad or no family? Well, 'blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb' let's make a group" she suggested. "It can be a safe place for sprites to go. We can set a watch for SPCF people, so we aren't always having to be as cautious. I don't sleep well, so I can do night watches."
