He smiled fully and shrugged,jumping up and running to the ladder. He jumped off the edge and grabbed it,swinging down and sliding down the side bar. "Heh.I actually might have made someone happy....ha! Take that ma'!" he said,grinning as he yelled it up to the sky and then dashed toward the lab entrance,ready to check on and help with D-H-3. His night would be long,again.

"sssomeone looksss happy, i wounder if they sssaw the wolf boy. sssuch a sssad little wolf boy" they said from behind a tree watching Luke and smiling widely. "ssad wolf boy. sssad humansss" they hissed and ran a scaled hand threw their short jet black hair and smiled wickedly.

Luke Penner.:

He froze half way to the entrance,curls frizzy and eyes wide now in their blue depths. He spun around,looking for the speaker with wide blue eyes and wild curls. "Who's there?!" He asked,shaking as he looked around,frantically.

"funny human ssso persseptive sssuch a kind human" the thing steped out from behind the tree. dark black scales covered a humans body with wings about the size of a red Fox. they were the same size as a Grey wolf. with purple eyes and hort jet black hair. "sssuch misssinterpritationsss are sslowl going to impead your studdies human" the creature smiled.

Luke Penner:

He jumped back eyes wide and freckles showing just how shocked he was. "We aren't studying them anymore as before,we are caring for them now and trying to keep them as safe and healthy as possible."

"thatsss what you do human. but the othersss they sstill ssstudy. they keep it from you. how elssse would you know what medicationsss worked and what onesss didn't?" the creature chuckled and smiled. "i am a watcher from another realm. ssso if you whant sssome help keeping them sssafe i can help you" the creature yawned and looked at you out the corner of its purple eyes. "the wolf boy isss a sssad creature. he ssseamsss to need sssome compasssion. but theirss not many to give him the compassion he whantsss." the creature then started to beat its wings and then stopped and seemed to flout their.

Luke Penner:
He backed up,confused and worried. "The other two....they wouldn't... they wouldn't dare. We've finished that old line,we've kept them safe and alive. They wouldn't....and I'd be willing if he needs compassion,everyone needs it sometimes."

"ssso naive. you underssstand what they did to the sssad wolf boy. hesss ssstill a pup in hisss mind. thossse who experimented on him are ssstill here. you know one of them." the creature hissed and looked angry as if he was telling a child something simple and well know and the child refused to understand.

"I do,but he's one of the only one of us left that's helping keep these specimens alive anymore." He said,glaring back with deep,tired,blue eyes.

"you do not underssstand" the creature shook its head. "i wisssh you could underssstand" the creature said and then started to leave. on its back between the shoulderblades and wings was a scare that looked terrible and fresh.
