Terrance returned the questioning look with a confused one of his own. He hadn't really been thinking about the other boy when he wrote the last note.

Theo
"Ah, so you can remove some clothing," Theo teased. "I thought they might be glued to you just like that beanie." But the question was, were there really demon horns hiding beneath? That was what Coriander seemed to imply, but Theo needed proof. Oh yes, he just couldn't wait to see what lay under all those layers. After giving the hackysack a few tosses, he bounced it off his foot, sending it Cori's way.

he slid the note to him just as the teacher was walking past.

"It's a Christmas miracle." Coriander replied sarcastically, but he was smiling brightly as he kicked the hackysack back towards Theo. His tail wiggled slightly under the two jackets he was wearing, something that happened when he was excited. Cori disliked the fact it made him feel like a dog wagging it's tail.
This isn't bad at all, it's easier than I thought to move around with the clips. He thought with a wide grin, his larger than average canines showing a little. They were small enough to just be passed as extra big for a person, but large enough to be noticeable. It was part of the reason he didn't smile so much.

Terrance
Terrance just had time to read the note before the teacher walked past, leaving Terrance freezing. His face smoothed over, losing all signs of emotion. Although the teacher gave them suspicious looks, Terrance had his notes, pencil poised over there and not a hint of trouble in sight. The note itself had fallen to the floor. Terrance refused to acknowledge it or the person who sent it. He really needed to be more careful.

Theo
When Theo saw the other boy's smile, he couldn't help but return it even brighter. There was something about that smile that excited him, even if he couldn't put his finger on what. "Don't talk about Christmas like that," he teased back, kicking the sack with a little more force this time. "I'll really call it Christmas when I can see you without all of those clothes on. Come on. I swear I won't tell anyone what you're hiding. It'll be fun! Promise!" And he really wouldn't tell. That would be no fun. But still, wasn't needling the truth out like this the most exciting kind of game?

nikko smiled at the teacher slyly.

"Who said I'm hiding anything?" Coriander replied, already on defensive mode. "Just keeping warm. I get cold easily." He lied, and before he could realize it, his reflexes had taken over and he returned the hackysack quite hard this time, not like his flimsy little kicks before. He mentally slapped himself, but brushed it off.
You need to stop playing, now. He knows something. But how? Did my beanie come undone when I wasn't looking? Or is he talking about some other secret? I don't have any though. You could see even more panic on his features, and how hard he was trying to hide that.

Theo
Theo's grin flashed just a shade brighter. "Oh no. Of course, you're not hiding anything. Just, if you were, I'd love to know." Really, he wouldn't tell anyone as long as he could get to know the secret. Theo cared about nothing else. "You know if you tell me mine I'll....ah?" He snapped his mouth shut as the hackysack went sailing past his head. Thankfully, none of the other students were watching them, but if they had been, they'd no doubt be impressed by such a kick. It caught Theo completely off-guard. As he went to fetch the toy, he couldn't help but grin even harder. "Have you been holding back on me?"

Terrance
Throughout the rest of the class, Terrance continued to play the part of a good student. Of course his curiosity about the other boy hadn't gone away, but his desire to fit in was stronger. The question was, how long would that continue after the bell rang and 'no talking in class' couldn't be used as an excuse anymore?

nikko keep looking at the boy smiling his eyes keep flashing with different emotions different tones.

Oh crap. Coriander winced a little as he watched the hackysack fly past Theo's head. A little too hard of a kick for sure. He just had so much pent of energy that sometimes it slipped out.
"Must have been the angle." He said simply, trying to brush off his little slip up. He grit his teeth slightly, sighing as he bit his bottom lip. Cori gave a look of slight defeat to Theo, before sliding one more coat, crossing his arms as he looked back at him.
"Happy? Nothing here. Just a shirt." Luckily for him, the long sleeve shirt was black and baggy, it hid his spaded tail perfectly. Although he couldn't take off the beanie no matter what, his horns were small, yes, but his hair wasn't quite long enough to cover them either.
Theo seems pretty cool though. I wonder what he would think if he saw my horns and tail? I just can't put my finger on why he's so perceptive though. He thought with a raised eyebrow at him.

(Does anyone want to continue the roleplay? I apologize for not keeping the roleplay active very well. I can have an idea but usually can't keep it going.)
