Sanders led them back to the Zeta Beams. He stood before the scanner.

"Location?"

"Downtown Gotham city, warehouse B06. Serial code Foxtrot-Omega-6-6."

"Inputing co-oridinates..."

"Co-ordinates inputted."

Sanders felt the familiar golden light wash over him, and then he was gone.

"Red Tornado, A-1. aka Sergeant Thomas Sanders Zane."

Ben's eyes widened. "Holy s**t!"

"Wait- what the f**k?" Dee sputtered as they began to fade out of the current Zeta Tube.

"Does someone have to curse every time we're in one of these?" Kai asked, crossing his arms. No one could see his expression as they all became a glowing silhouette.

"Well, I'm sorry, we'll limit it to every other time." She turned to the Sergeant next. "Why didn't you tell us? Isn't Red Tornado a superhero too?"

"So I am confusion-" Chris started.

"Shut up." Lucas muttered.

((This is what happens when the robotic/android jokes get too real))

The sergeant blinked dully, "I was not told by the general to say so. You didn't hear this from me." He stated calmly, walking towards the ware house in his usual pace. "Remember why we're here."

Ben nodded, "R-right!" The boy sped forwards, passing Sanders by accident. He yelped as he tripped over a limp form on the path way and face planted into the ash fault. He sat up, rubbing his head. "Wh- oh. Oh God." He covered his mouth with gloved hands and scooted away from the body strewn on the ground.

Another string of curse words exploded from the group, this time from Kai's mouth as his face turned pallid and a sickly green. He was shaking slightly as Deanne stepped forward to help Ben up and identify the victim.

Dee pinched her nose and glanced at the body on the ground. "Damn- who did this? And who did they do it to?" She kept one hand on her sword, looking up and around as Chris patted Kai's back.

On closer inspection, there was a hole through the body's chest where it's heart should've been. Sanders growled, picking up an owl feather from off the ground and holding it up for them to see. "Take a guess."

A soft thud echoed through out the courtyard, and a deep voice resonated. "You shouldn't be here. None of you have any business interfering with.. mine." The masked figure said in a disgusted tone, his owl-like googles glinting in the moon light. He dropped the young, secondary figure he had been carrying. This one was also masked, but their's was a white, simple yet creepy owl mask with dark eye holes. It was cracked and bloody. The older figure turned and disappeared into the night.

They all froze, Deanne's fingers twitching as she slowly reached for her sword. The coil of rope also hung by her side but she had no idea what it did yet. Lucas, behind her, was glancing down at his ring and then back at the second figure, anticipating an attack.

"Who are you?" Kai started to ask, doing his best to mask his stutter. He didn't move. "And why is this your business?" And why the heck is your mask so creepy? Who is that other guy? Who did you kill?

okay we'll stick with this imma just say that they didn't notice he was unconscious. oui?
