As you reach the door which is open you can see Mark holding the man down on the table as Randa struggles to remove the bullet from his side. "Hold him still, I almost got it!" The woman said to Mark.
"What does it look like I'm doing!" Mark snapped as he fought to hold the man down.

I breathe a sigh of relief and I decide to play with the child for a bit or at least until Martha is done with whatever she is doing.

Mark managed to hold the man down enough for Randa to get the bullet out. Once finished she cleaned and put a piece of gauze in the wound before bandaging him up. "There he should be good to go. I would say with the way he fought he should make a full recovery in a few weeks. For now though we need to move him to another room. Tia? Could you help Mark get him settled in while I clean up?"

I nod "Ofcourse! Though if you get the chance tell Martha we'll need baby food if we end up letting these two stay" I motion to mark and Samantha.

"Well he's not going anywhere for a few weeks, so yeah you may want to tell you to put that on our list." Randa said before starting to clean up the spilled interments. Mark simply grunted his response before picking the man up again and carrying him next door, to a room set aside for the ill or injured. He set him down on the bed before rummaging through the closet for extra blankets and pillows. The man looked at you weakly.
"C-could I see her? Just for a little bit?" He said motioning towards the baby.

"oh of course! You must be so worried about her. I'd let you hold her but in your state, you might drop her." I say bluntly but hold her out to him so she was still in my steady grip but that he could touch her if he wanted to.

"See...I told you I wouldn't leave you like they did..." he whispered to her wincing as he sat up to plant a kiss on her forehead. With that he sat back passing out. Mark turned then, putting a heavier blanket over the man as well as putting another pillow under his head.

I smiled sadly and then look down at Samantha to see if she needs anything. I'd imagine she might be tired or hungry.

She seemed rather happy to be honest. Other than her kicking more than she had when you first picked her up she was still a very content baby. Mark looks at you then to the baby before leaving the room without a word.
