The boy thought about it for a moment. Then his eyes lit up a bit. "Was it red and greenish? A flitty thing with leaf wings, right? Yeah, I saw one of those!" he exclaimed happily. "It was kinda flying about last night, all distressed-like and stuff," he answered.

At your explanation, Quruxus' expression suddenly became one of complete disbelief. "And you own one of these!" she exclaimed. Then, something seemed to dawn on her and she became more upset, though you couldn't help but notice what an attractive sort of upset it was. "You were going to bind yourself to another human?" she gasped in horror. "But why? Why would humans want to be bound?"

Ochyllyss's eyes brightened and she smiled widely. "Yes, it is! Did it fly out of town?" She gave an apologetic smile, "He's my pet, his name is Gaemon, I lost him when I was...running to this town. Thank you for telling me, I thought I'd lost him," She stuck out her hand. "My name is Ochyllyss Salihn," she said.

The boy looked at your hand skeptically, and then took it. "Jarthen," he introduced himself. "Yeah, I think I saw him fly out into the grasslands," he told you. "You can probably go out and find him. You look like a strong elf. My dad would take me hunting out there, and it's really not that bad."

"His name is Nerriman, and he's the nicest guy I know," the kid, Jarthen, smiled. "He's super big and strong, but when some goblins raided our town, we had to leave. He brought me here and then said he had to go back and see if he could find my mom's wedding ring. That was a couple days ago, but I trust him."

The pain from her injury was pretty intense, but as Quruxus finished binding her arm fairly rightly, Camilla started to feel less aware of it. She leaned her head back against the trunk of the tree and tried to take a moment to relax while considering the woman's questions.
"Yes, I was going to...," she began slowly, struggling to keep her composure, "And people get married because its meant to be a symbol of love between two people, a way to show commitment to one another." She paused for a moment, staring off into the distance as she chose her words. "Unfortunately, thats not always the case..."

At your words, Quruxus withdrew slightly, the bandaging job completed. She snorted in a pretty cute matter as she listened to your explanation in description. "Love is a myth. My people don't believe in it. It's some silly barbaric land people invention. We are more evolved. But anyway, what do you mean about that not always being the case? Is there another sort of case as to why you'd choose to be bound to someone?"

Ochyllyss bit her lip, trying to not let her worriedness show. I hope his father is okay...this boy deserves all the care he can get... "I'm sure he's okay, and I'm sure a good man like him will keep his promise. Do you have a place to live in this town?" She asked kindly.
