"Look, we don't have much time. A storm is brewing. I know of a place where you can stay, a place with other children like you."

Latte shook his head. "No, I didn't see her. Hopefully, she shows up. I think I just heard thunder."
Sunni nodded. "I heard it, too. Hopefully her, Daze and Primavera come back safe and sound." Her face lit up. "In the meantime, I made some soup. I know you're all hungry, and it's nice and hot."

Two balls of fluff came rolling into the kitchen. They smiled at the new arrivals and looked up at Sunni. "We heard someone say soup! And we're hungry!"
Sunni smiled. "I know, I know. Here." She handed them each a bowl of soup and some bamboo sticks.

Tunnel looked around, and even though he was blind, knew where everyone was. His blind gaze darted around nervously, and he was sure to keep his distance from the others. He kept his ears perked, and jumped at every noise.
