I burst out laughing, pulling my hand up to hold my sides. "I'm not much of a knight, sorry to disappoint. But I'm probably the last person that will judge you, trust me." Regesturing my hand, I asked, "So, where are ya headed? I don't think I have to do anything at the moment and anything will be better than going back to my cabin. Speaking of, which one are you in?"

"You'd be surprised how well a minirature donkey can play." Greta smirked

"Right I should probably answer some of your questions." She smiled at him, "No, I'm not new. I'm heading to the lake, it's a nice day for a dip. I'm a daughter of Aphrodite..." She grimaced a bit whilst saying that. "Now I have some questions for you." Vicky grinned happily, pushing the grimace back. "What cabin are you in? How old are you and how long have you been at camp?"

I pulled a face, deciding that I would answer that question last. "Got here this morning, and I've only been here a few hours. And, erm..." I looked down and chuckled awkwardly, wringing my hands. 'Will she want to leave if I tell her?? Maybe she'll want to avoid me...' Thoughts like this ran around my vision, but I quickly shook them away. 'no, if she judges me for this then it won't matter. I'm not my dad.' Gaining confidence, I said, "I'm the son of Hades."

Widening her eyes, she let out a tiny gasp, "Son of Hades!" She paused for a moment, letting it sink in, who he was. Then she realised, he would have thought she was panicking. "That's.... Actually really cool! Can you summon the dead and stuff?! I wish I were in the Hades cabin." She smiled at him! "I've been here for years, no one really talks to me, I suppose it is because I don't talk to them... And I'm 15."

Sebastian ran towards his half-sisters and half-brothers. "Hey, sorry I'm late, I'm guessing we are discussing tactics for the game tonight?" His half-sister, who was 5 years older than him, Carissa, replied,"Yes, we will be doing that, and We have decided to team with some of the other cabins also."

I sighed with happiness. "Well, I can do a little necromancy, and shadow travelling..." I smiled shyly. "I'm so glad that you don't have a problem with it, and even gladder that you're so close to my age!" I realised how stupid I was and paused. "...gladder isn't a word, is it?" I laughed at my own stupidity. "So where are we headed?"

Vicky burst out laughing, "Gladder!" She wiped a tear from her eyes, laughing. "You are rather forgetful too, I already told you we're going to the lake." She smiled and grabbed his arm, dragging him with her to the lake, "By the way, why are you glad we are of similar age? We could still be friends if I were younger. I think. Maybe. We could... Right?"

I facepalmed, letting out a little groan. "I am such an idiot. But yeah, it really wouldn't matter what age you are. I need all the help I can get, and besides, age isn't all that matters." I realised that I was saying too much and shut up, soaking in the views of the camp and quietly listening to the falloutboy song that was still deafening me in one ear. The camp sure was beautiful, I could admit that. "Mind if I ask where you're from?" I blurted out, and looked down in embarrassment. Sometimes I didn't think before I spoke.

She stared at the floor awkwardly and muttered "I don't really know, I've lived in an orphanage for my whole life, sometimes I think I remember something about my dad, just a snippet. A warm brown eye and a smile stretching across his dark skin as he cradled me but I doubt that actually happened. Why would he have given me up if it were true." Gloom hung in my eyes, like a cloud raining down. "I never stayed in the same orphanage for long, they could never chain me down, I kept on running. I keep wondering when I stopped, if I actually did stop. Maybe I'm still running." She shut her mouth and smiled a sad smile, sorry I'm blabbering, there's something about you Leon. I keep spilling all of my secrets.... And I don't know if that's good or not." Shaking her head slightly, she returned to being happy and leaped onto his back, arms around his neck and snatched one headphone, placing it in her ear. "That's enough of all those emotions."
