"Great. We'll use the performance that won us multiple competitions!" Lux said.
"That's really difficult to do though..." Mio said.
"We can manage." Nia said.

" we're already signed up, so we're going to head to our room to get ready, we'll see you later" Ludo said, carrying his friends with him to their backstage room.

Lux and the others signed up and sat on a bench to wait for the competition. A package with a parachute attached fell from the sky as a plane flew over.
Mio opened it and found competition costumes.

A woman came over to them "hello, are y'all contestants? Head over to your room, the competition is starting" the woman told them, pointing to a room down the hall.

The Kalosian Hybrids head down the hall and into the room they were assigned.
They changed into their clothes.

There was a screen inside each room so everyone could see what the other contestants were doing. Ludo, Belle, and Oreo were up first, doing complicated twists and turns in the air, dancing around the stage to fun music. Belle used Petal dance, which Oreo mimicked, causing a storm of petals to decorate their precise but fun movements. When they finished, the roar of the crowd could be heard from outside the building.


(Is it alright if the dance team wins? Since, well, y'know, it's kinda their entire purpose to be entertaining and loved by an audience)

(Fine, but there should be a battle category, where the Kalos Hybrids win, 'cos batting is pretty much their sole purpose.)

The Kalosian troupe performed spectacularly, but in the end, the dance troupe conquered. However, the competition included a battle round for the heck of it...

(Alrighty, the place will have different categories like how the contests have cool, cute, beauty, ect)

The trio got up onto the stage, accepting their rewards before heading back out, but not before the announcer had an announcement

"Now everyone, due to donations and popularity of the hybrid contest hall, we would like to annouce that we are opening several categories to enter, it will consist of: Dancing, Battling, Show, Powers, and Miscellaneous!"
He announced. The audience cheered, and Ludo hugged Oreo and Belle before the two took their places back on his shoulders.

"Auris, you inform the Gym Leader and others about the clue and I'll start looking around," Luca said to the hybrid.

"Right" Auris nodded, quickly finding her way through the maze and puzzles. "Miss Fantina, I must inform you me and my partners, Luca and Gaia, will be searching this gym for a clue on the whereabouts of Kaito Midnight" She told the gym leader.
