Korak frowned. "I was really hoping for a burrow or den . . . But okay. However, if we find a den on the way there we'll stay." With that, he headed towards the tree, which was a long distance away.

He reframed from moving as the human took a step towards him. Knowing well he needed help the morkko allowed this though he didn't Ike it all the same. This meant the cloak would have to come from him, reviling the color his eyes held. The female would see as would the human, but if it meant life he wasn't going to take that much of a chance. "Do as you will." He growled the best he could without coming over as hostile. Not sure if the human heard all the same.

Theon turned towards the ryori and smiled kindly.
"I'm not going to hurt any of you. I'm just a friendly hermit, not a hunter."

Ryori had always fascinated him. Of all creatures they had the most presence about them. Sometimes he almost thought he could see them. This one... this one had colour... blue. He vaguely remembered colours, the few he had seen in the short span of his childhood before he began to lose his vision had been so mesmerizing but blue had always been his favourite.

"What is a hermit?" Shadow asked. She was not familiar with human speak nor did she understand most of it but most of this sounded simple. She smiled.

Maria~
She licked her lips to clear the blood from them. She still didn't trust the human but if he was to help the male she had found then he was good enough, for now. Maria shook her fur a moment before trotting towards the others. The human fascinated her, she had never seen one before save for the hunters she had killed. But for one to be alive in front of her? That was crazy! She couldn't help but approach him and sniff his clothes and skin. What a strange smell.

Though Theon was no more familiar with sylesti speak then shadow was to his words he understood the grumble from the morkko to mean he was allowed to proceed.
Gently he reached out and felt the fabric of the cloak the morkko wore. He moved his hand slowly up untill he found the shaft of the arrow. With full knowledge that in this instant the morkko was far more a danger to him than he possibly could have been to it, he tore away the fabric to expose the wound. He felt around the edges of the puncture and down the shaft to gauge the length of the arrow in comparison to the size of the arrowhead. It was in pretty deep, two inches to be exact. Not to mention it was a serrated arrowhead. With where the arrow had hit there was no way to push it through to remove it so he would have to enlarge the entry wound to remove it without risking leaving the arrowhead in his shoulder.
He pulled a small pocket knife and a flask of alcohol from his satchel and cleaned the blade then slowly carefully began to work on the wound.
It took some time to remove it but he managed, finally cleaning the wound with the alcohol he stitched it shut with the needle and thread he carried with him.He leaned back with a sigh.
"Sorry about being so rough but, you know a few times I thought you were about to bite my hand off."
He chuckled slightly as he stood and brushed himself off.

"This shouldn't have happened...... I should have been more aware......." Shadow said aloud but intended to say it in her head. She walked off into the shadows.

Theon listened to the ryori slink away and couldn't help but feel saddened. To him at least there was no more colour around him anymore. He didn't have an opportunity to do anything about it though because at that moment the second morkko approached him and began poking and prodding him with her snout so enthusiastically that he almost fell over.
"Woah! Easy there"

She trotted to catch up, and said "So what's your name? Mine is Kara"

"Korak" He said as he continued to walk. He wondered, did she also like me?
