Katherine knew exactly what he meant, she felt it herself. She moves closer putting her arm round his shoulders. "The worst part about being strong is no one asks if your ok." she says watching his reaction. She knew he wasn't ok. Her face still showed no emotion, but her eyes had a slight show of emotion.

Leon nods. "But I won't say I love life simply protect it." He sighs. "And I'm a fatherless boy, my father is dad thank you very much."

Sebastian felt bad for this man. "Your Leon S. Kennedy aren't you?"

Michael cringed at her touching him and did not answer. No one has ever said that to him. Because no one had ever cared. There's was only hate. And- No. NO. Stop thinking. Push away the memories. Put them behind that locked door. That was then. He started getting a light headache and gave an almost unseeable nod.

"You are welcome." Sighing, she closed her eyes. "But really, not many have their family alongside them anymore. My little brother stabbed himself in the neck when he heard our parents had been killed by the undead. And if you do not value life, why protect it?"

"It's not my life I value, it's others. I would rather put my life on the line to save them rather than sit down and let them die." Leon says sitting up again.

Sebastian looks the man over. "It's not that bad.."

Katherine seen the very small nod and took her arm off from his shoulders, rubbing his back and shoulder blades gently before taking her hand away completely. Her emotion shown in her eyes disappears. Her eyes look to the ground for a few moments, she started to feel sorry for the boy, she wanted to hug him like he was her own child. No...what are you doing...she thought to herself, mentally slapping herself. Her mouth forms a hard line as she thought. She slightly shakes her head barely noticeable as she looked up, her face blank once again.

"Heh, the cliche motivation for a gallant he to, eh?" She grinned, attempting a more joyful atmosphere.
"Say, has anyone been sent to douse the fire..?"

If you do not want to feel, leave me be. Michael thought. She' just a human. Another human. One that cannot express emotions because it is unsafe to. You are number one. No one else.
